Wimo Heavy Duty Telescoping Fiberglass Mast Extension Kits
Wimo Heavy Duty Telescoping Fiberglass Mast Extension Kits add to the bottom of and extend the height of the WMO-18333-10 Heavy Duty Mast. With appropriate guying, use one WMO-18334-01 Adaptor Tube and up to five fiberglass WMO-18334 Extension Tubes can provide a total of 14.76 ft. additional height. The first extension tube extends the Heavy Duty mast by approximately 2 ft. due to the required tubing overlap and each additional extension tube adds another 3 ft. *IMPORTANT * One WMO-18334-01 Adapter Tube (sold separately) is REQUIRED to connect the first WMO-18334 Extension Tube to the bottom of the Heavy Duty Mast. Each additional Extension Tube does not require this adaptor; as they are tapered to fit onto each other. WMO-18334 Extension Tubes can also be used to create a very portable and easy-to-assemble stand-alone mast that maintains a larger diameter for greater strength. The number of Extension Tubes used for this alternative mast is limited by the top load and guying of the mast. One of the WMO-18334-1 Adapter Tubes could be used at the very top of that alternative assembly, to protect the mast top and provide a robust antenna fastening point. WiMo Mast Clamp Quick-Release Handles
WiMo Mast Clamp Quick-Release Handles are a great option for WiMo Portable Aluminum Masts. As supplied, those masts require a flat or socket wrench. With these quick-release clamp handles you can raise and lower the mast without any tools. Even with limited space, these quick-release handles can be used easily, adjusted to any position. Just pull out and release the lever; the strong spring latches the lever at the desired position. In place of the clamp star screws, the quick-release handles allow for secure tightening of the clamp without using too much force. How many quick-release handles are needed for a WiMo mast? Order one less quick-release handles than the number of mast sections. Of course, WiMo masts can be retrofitted with these quick-release clamp handles, as well as any other mast clamps that use M8 screws.
