WiMo BASE-705 Desk Stand for IC-705 - This very flat steel plate holder for the IC-705 and other devices, gives your portable transceiver the necessary stability on the table or in the field, for portable operations. Due to the very low working height of about 2 inches (5 cm) the IC-705 is at the right height to be used comfortably, unlike mini photo tripods. The WiMo BASE-705 mount is an attractive black powder-coated steel plate that matches the radio. This thin, heavy stand with rubber feet is 7.875 in. (200 mm) wide, 3.937 in. (100 mm) deep and 0.224 in. (5.7 mm) thick and weighs about 1.8 lbs. (840 g). The mount features a standard 1/4 in. threaded stud, so the mounted QRP transceiver is very stable. A swivel ball head with a knob style set screw provides easy adjustment of correct transceiver alignment for operating and for folding the radio down for transport.
