DX Engineering KD9SV Keying Relay
DX Engineering KD9SV Keying Relay, DXE-SV-KR, is a high speed Solid State interface designed to protect transceiver keying circuits from potential damage by amplifier relays. Transceiver low voltage keying circuits handle only a few milliamperes (mA), but some "modern" amplifier relays require over 150 mA at 12 VDC. High voltage and high current amplifier keying relays were common in amplifiers made between 1950 and 1975. The DXE-SV-KR can safely key almost all DC amplifier relays, including older relays and keying inputs that operate at high voltage, typically -100 VDC or +110 VDC. Inspired by the original KD9SV Keying Relay, the DXE-SV-KR quickly and silently does the work of a 6-pin normally open (N.O.) Double Pole Single Throw (DPST) relay. It provides two completely isolated ground independent PTT Outputs, each capable of handling up to +/- 450VDC at up to 500mA. The DXE-SV-KR optically isolated PTT Input only requires 2mA at 13.8VDC to key, so it is safe for any transceiver's amplifier keying circuit or any other 'ground-on- transmit' PTT keying accessory. Built in a convenient enclosure with RCA phono jacks, the DXE-SV-KR is also QSK capable for keying any amplifier that supports high speed CW keying, typically a Solid State amplifier (or specially equipped tube amplifier) with a high-speed circuit for "Key In" PTT. The DXE-SV-KR may also be used to isolate a straight key or a Solid State electronic keyer connection to any CW key input. It can provide crucial protection and safety on high voltage CW key jacks and circuits common on old tube-type transmitters and transceivers. The DXE-SV-KR Keying Relay's high speed capability also provides relay debouncing, or it can be used as a remote high-voltage DC switch. The DXE-SV-KR operates on 13.8VDC to an input 2.1mm DC connector. A mating 2.1mm plug and wire are included. The DXE-SV-KR features standard RCA phono female connectors for ground-on-transmit Input and Output ports and is compatible with almost every transceiver or transmitter and amplifier combination. RCA phono patch cables are sold separately. The DX Engineering KD9SV Keying Relay is an uncomplicated way to ensure that your sensitive transceiver or electronic keying circuit is isolated and protected. CAUTION: DO NOT connect the DXE-SV-KR to AC voltage relays in antique amplifiers, typically 110VAC. See instructions. Except for AC switching, the DXE-SV-KR replaces the Ameritron ARB-704.

Penta Labs RF Vacuum Tubes
Penta Laboratories was founded in 1951 and is a world-class manufacturer and distributor of a wide range of vacuum tubes for a variety of industries. Penta's commitment to excellence begins with design and follows each product all the way through distribution. Penta Labs matched vacuum tubes go through rigorous test procedures to enhance performance during their operation. Each Penta Labs vacuum tube is burned in for a minimum of 48 hours dissipating full power with filament, plate and screen voltages that are normally used in amplifier applications. All of this ensures that the various electrical parameters have stabilized and the matching of each vacuum tube will not drift during its lifetime. Penta Labs power tubes are matched within a 5% variation on all parameters. This is a process of eliminating tubes that test with bad values, rejecting those outside limits of design. Each passing vacuum tube is then tested on a fleet of WT-100A original RCA production testers for plate current, screen current and transconductance (gm). We also check for grid current and leakage between elements. When you receive single and matched vacuum tubes from Penta Labs, you can rest assured that you are receiving a product that has been thoroughly tested and will perform at levels unsurpassed in the industry. DX Engineering offers a selection of Penta Labs single and matched sets of RF vacuum tubes and ceramic vacuum tubes for your electronics project or repair. Order yours today!

Toptek Communications Power Amplifier Remote Control Panel
Toptek Communications Power Amplifier Remote Control Panel is designed specifically for the PA-350V 144 MHz the PA-150U 430 MHz Amplifiers. This user interface duplicates the LCD display and push-button keypad operation of the front panel of the connected amplifier. The easy-to-read green backlit Alphanumeric LCD displays simultaneous digital input power, output power and SWR readings. Both the Amplifier front panel and the Remote Control Panel are connected in parallel, so both display identical information, and the operator may control, select functions, and monitor the amplifier with either panel simultaneously. Push-button functional selections and specialized, user-defined functions and menu selections are all remotely displayed, including incremental power output settings. Hot swapping is supported; whether the amplifier is powered on or off, the Remote Control Panel may be plugged in or unplugged any time. The bottom of the Remote Control panel features a 3.5mm female external PTT jack to support SSB, CW and Digital operations. The Remote and the Amplifier each have a 4-pin mini-DIN jack, and the included 16.4 ft. (5m) 4-pin mini-DIN cable connects the amplifier and powers the Remote. Toptek Communications Power Amplifier Remote Control Panel is easy to locate on the desk or in the vehicle. The Remote dimensions are (WHD) 4.507 in. x 4.094 x 1.300 in. (117 x 104 x 33 mm) and it weighs 6 oz. (170 g). Applicable model VHF and UHF Solid State amplifiers are NOT compatible with DMR and P25 modes.

ACOM RPON Remote AC Power Controllers
ACOM RPON Remote AC Power Controllers could be part of your remote station operations. ACOM 2000A amplifiers (and their commercial "P" version) are capable of being powered up and down in a remote station. ACOM RPON (Remote Power ON) modules connect via computer and will enable you to remotely turn the amplifier on and off. ACOM RPON units plug right into the DB9 computer connections on the amplifier's rear panel. Use of their RPON module is fully compatible with ACOM's RCU remote control unit. RPON modules are quite small, and because they are rear-panel modules, they are normally out of sight. Remote operation is becoming more popular as remote applications become more powerful and versatile. Since ACOM amplifiers are fully automatic, all you need to do is control the mains power to add more TX power to your remote station operation. Order ACOM RPON Remote AC Power Controllers from DX Engineering!
