This antenna system features an easy-to-deploy telescopic stainless-steel whip, which can be retracted when winds of more than 50MPH are expected. The total length of the 17.75ft. vertical whip and the 25.25ft. horizontally sloped element equals the magic number of 43ft., a length used by many excellent systems for multi-band HF antenna operation from 80 to 10 meters.
