Chameleon Antenna CHA NVIS Multi Band Portable Wire Antennas are an advanced evolution of the world's most widely used Near Vertical Incidence Skywave (NVIS) antenna—the U.S. Army AS 2259/GR. Redesigned with modern materials and engineering, it delivers greater portability, wider frequency coverage, and significantly reduced weight while maintaining the rugged reliability required for demanding field conditions. Originally engineered for the jungles of Vietnam, this antenna platform is now optimized for today's most challenging EMCOMM, disaster response, and field deployment environments. Purpose-built for NVIS propagation, the CHA NVIS enables reliable short to medium range HF communication when conventional line of sight or long-distance skip paths are ineffective. Its design makes it ideal for emergency communication operators who must maintain contact with agencies and relief teams located just outside an affected disaster zone. Operating from 1.8–54.0MHz, including the 160–6-meter Amateur Radio Service bands, the CHA NVIS provides broad frequency capability without adjustment when paired with a suitable antenna tuner. The system requires only a single center support approximately 15 feet high and is self guying, enabling rapid deployment in the field.

CHAMELEON ANTENNA CHA MPAS Lite is the little brother of the CHA MPAS 2.0. The Modular Portable Antenna System is a concept allowing the radio operator to configure and deploy the antenna system in a variety of configurations. Some of the possible deployment configurations include Vertical, Horizontal, Sloper, Inverted V, Inverted L, NVIS, Balcony, Vehicle (Stationary) and Backpack Portable. The MPAS Lite With Hybrid MINI Antenna System consists of: • 1 X CHA HYBRID-MINI Feedpoint with SO-239 • 1 X 60 ft. Chameleon Antenna Hybrid Mini BNC Portable HF Antenna systems are offered with different wire lengths, allowing for the setup of a broadband long-wire antenna without additional parts. Simply choose the variation that fits your needs. Additional wire lengths and accessories are available, making it ideal for experimenting, or optimizing your antenna setup. The Hybrid Mini BNC antenna base is a versatile system designed for the 160-6m bands, featuring a built-in 1:5 broadband matching transformer and a maximum power rating of 500W SSB, 100W CW, and 40W for high duty cycle digital modes. A 3/8-24in. threaded connector is included for mounting various antenna radiators, and a BNC female connector on the side for coaxial connection. The Hybrid Mini base also has a 3/8-24 in. stainless steel threaded bolt on the underside for grounding. Radials are generally not required but can enhance the radiation characteristics depending on the configuration, and a tuner may be necessary for some bands and configurations.

Chameleon Antenna CHA LRT 2.0 Loop Remote Tuners allow for remote tuning of the CHA F-LOOP 2.0 magnetic loop antennas. This permits the antenna to be mounted up to 20 feet from the operating position, such as on a balcony or deck and enables precise tuning of the loop. The CHA LRT 2.0 replaces the manual tuning knob with a motor housing and is controlled by a wired, battery-powered control box that features fast and slow tuning buttons.
