M2 Antennas 222-10EZ 222 MHz Yagi Antennas
M2 Antennas 222-10EZ 222 MHz Yagi Antennas are used by operators who want more than a basic beam antenna. Featuring a balanced, top-of-the-line feeder matching system, these 10 element antennas handle full legal limit and deliver weak-signal or distant repeater and simplex performance that is far beyond the capabilities of small end-mount beams or base station verticals. M2 Antennas 222-10EZ are, as their name implies, easily assembled. Built on very easy to handle and turn 10 ft. booms, these medium-sized, computer designed Yagis cover 222 to 226 MHz with flat gain and low SWR. Strong, yet lightweight and streamlined, they complement any VHF system. The heart of each 222-10EZ is their unique Driven Element Module, offering a balanced feeder for excellent pattern. Superior weather resistance and power handling abilities are achieved with all connectors that are O-ring sealed to the CNC machined block and internal connections are sealed in a space-age silicone gel with a dielectric strength nearly 4 times greater than air. The coaxial cable balun connectors are triple sealed. Other key mechanical and electrical parts are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and all hardware except the U-bolts is stainless steel. These balanced feeder beams are suitable for operations into distant FM repeaters or on simplex when mounted vertically, as shown, on a fiberglass mast. For weak-signal work on SSB, CW and digital modes, this beam may be mounted horizontally on a metal mast. In either case, since M2 Antennas 222-10EZ 222 MHz Yagi Antennas have very clean patterns, they are perfect for stacking vertically or horizontally, to bring your 1.25 meter band operations to a new level. M2 Antennas HO LOOP Stacking Kits
M2 Antennas HO LOOP Stacking Kits provide the parts for vertical stacking of two HO LOOP antennas, to achieve an additional 3 dB gain. Stacking two loops at sufficient height above the ground will focus your VHF or UHF horizontally polarized omnidirectional signal toward the horizon, so you can make more contacts with more distant stations! You can expect better long haul tropo range with two HO LOOPS and HO LOOP stacking kits. HO LOOP Stacking Kits contain phasing lines, "T" junction block, upper and lower small mast sections. The HO LOOP Antennas are purchased separately, as are the appropriate base or mobile installation mounts. Get your HO LOOP Stacking Kits form DX Engineering today!

M2 Antennas Power Dividers
M2 Antennas Power Dividers are non-isolation type dividers that serve as RF combiners and splitters for 50 ohm antennas and feedlines. They are carefully hand-crafted to achieve their design frequency range. M2 Antennas Power Dividers are made with Type N female connectors so they have extremely low loss and constant impedance characteristics. Power Dividers are used in VHF and UHF arrays to impedance match two or four Loop or Yagi antennas that are fed in phase, separated by the proper stacking spacing, and pointed in the same direction. As compared to a single antenna, this technique can yield 3 dB gain for two antennas and nearly 6 dB gain for four antennas, less only the minor losses of the phasing lines and the power divider. Each pair of stacked antennas nearly doubles the effective radiated power of the station. The 6 meter band Power Dividers are made with low loss coaxial cables and high quality connectors. All other M2 Antennas Power Dividers are constructed with aluminum tubing or aluminum blocks and solid metal center conductors to make coaxial lines with air dielectric, so their losses are nearly immeasurable. These two-port and four-port Power Dividers feature aluminum brazed joints, machined end blocks and 'O' ring sealed coaxial connectors of the highest quality. Each M2 Antennas Power Dividers has less than 0.1 dB loss and handles 3 kW of RF power. Two-port dividers are used for a pair of Horizontal Omni Loops or a pair of Yagi antennas with equal length of 50 ohm low loss coaxial cables with Type N connectors. Two-port power dividers are also used in arrays of eight Yagis or multiples, to combine each pair of four antennas that are served by four-port Power Dividers. Available now at DX Engineering, M2 Antennas Power Dividers offer the best method of splitting and combining RF in your stacked VHF and UHF HO Loop or Yagi arrays.
