DX Engineering LPB-B Low Power Balun Center Insulators feature an amazing Hi-CMI 50-ohm 1:1 Balun built onto a Center Insulator board, and a BNC female right-angle connector pre-installed. Designed for portable operations on HF bands, these baluns let you join the fun of making a high-performance Single Band or Multi-Band Linked Dipole! This coax wound toroid achieves an amazing common mode impedance (CMI) curve, with an RF choking capability that far exceeds 'a-few-beads-on-coax' products that are offered by other suppliers, and they can handle up to 250 watts on SSB voice, or 100 watts or less on CW or Digital modes on frequencies below a 2:1 SWR. They are designed for building a center supported Inverted Vee Dipole (not end supported) and are great for use with DX Engineering Nomad Portable Telescopic Masts (sold separately).
