DX Engineering Direct Coax Feed Add-On Kits
DX Engineering Direct Coax Feed Add-On Kits are designed for the Hustler BTV Series of antennas. They allow for a direct connection with a coaxial cable PL-259 (UHF male) connector. Manufactured from heavy-duty stainless steel, these add-on kits allow for a convenient connection from your coaxial cable feed line directly to the base of the Hustler BTV series vertical antennas by adding a mounted SO-239 (UHF female). They may be positioned in any one of three different directions to accommodate a straight-in or sideways connection from your feed line. If you are looking for a professional and reliable installation, then order a low power or high power (low loss) coaxial jumper cable for connecting your radial plate with a bulkhead connector. DX Engineering Feedpoint Wire and Connector Assemblies
DX Engineering Feedpoint Wire and Connector Assemblies provide a new and unique method of feeding an antenna radiating element. A ring terminal with a 1/4 in. hole is crimped and soldered to a 12 in. long insulated 14 AWG stranded copper wire, complete with weather-protective heat shrink tubing. Then, these feed point wires are terminated to the center pin of an N-type male or UHF male PL-259 with special insulating sleeves and weather-sealing heat shrink. These assemblies are intended to be used with a double female bulkhead connector, mounted into the Radial Plate, for use on an HF vertical antenna, for example. This wire and connector combination allows for the complete weather sealing of a single wire feed point, while properly terminating the feedline shield to the radial system or ground point of the antenna system. Especially useful for phased vertical installations, the DX Engineering Feedpoint Wire and Connector Assemblies are ready for your special antenna projects!

DX Engineering Elevated Pre-Cut Radial Wire Kits are for elevated feed-point vertical antennas. These pre-cut resonant radial wires come in sets for optimal performance on 10, 15, and 20 meters, or 40 meters, or 80 meters. They allow for the construction of four quarter wavelength resonant radial wires for each band. Each kit includes ring terminals for 1/4 in. bolts and contains wires that are precut to the correct length. The radial wire is 14 AWG stranded copper with relaxed black PVC insulation. Mastrant Portable Mast and Vertical Antenna Guying Kits include sufficient material suitable for guying in one direction - so in practice you need 3 or 4 sets for each level (height) of guying. When choosing the number of guying levels, always adhere to the mast manufacturer's recommendations. While there isn't a universal rule, using two or more levels of guying significantly reduces the risk of accidental buckling and potential mast damage.
