Diamond Antenna CPATU HF Vertical Antennas
Diamond Antenna CPATU HF Vertical Antennas are 15-foot-long elements that are designed to act as the radiating element when used with an external antenna tuner that are designed for long wires, such as the Icom AH-4, AH-705, AH-730, Yaesu FC-40, or MFJ-993BRT. This antenna element will work from 80-6 meters, depending on the tuner used and is rated up to 300W on Single Sideband. Weighing just 5.5 pounds and requiring a mast between 1.18 and 2.44 inches, this vertical element can be mounted where you need it. As this is only the antenna element, the counterpoise is handled by the ground terminal on the antenna tuner. A recommendation of 1-3 counterpoise wires of at least 32 feet each attached to the ground terminal on the antenna tuner.
