DX Commander Rapide2-PLUS HF Multi-Band Vertical Antenna Packages

DX Commander Rapide2-PLUS HF Multi-Band Vertical Antenna Packages include a DXC-RAPIDE-GP2 Ground Mounted Fiberglass Post designed for ground mounting the RAPIDE2 antenna system. These Ground Mounted Fiberglass Posts are extremely strong and flexible tubing that's constructed with a high glass, no carbon content fiberglass via a pultrusion process making them perfect for vertical antenna projects. These 3mm, or about 1/8in. wall fiberglass posts are 45.276 (115cm) long and features a corrosion barrier built into the surface for longer life. DX Commander Rapide2 HF Multi-Band Vertical Antennas feature a newly designed and upgraded all-metal end cap for the telescoping mast and upgraded ground plate assembly. These resonant multi-band vertical antenna systems are designed to operate on the 30 through 10 meter Amateur Radio bands (with the 6m band handled by the 30m element as a 1.25 wavelength element). Operation on the 40 meter band is possible with the addition of a user made coil (see the user guide for details). DX Commander Rapide2 vertical antennas are based on the same principles as a fan dipole, with several vertical wire elements of various resonant lengths connected to a common feedpoint. Spacer Plates keep the wire elements and support ropes neatly arranged around the non-conductive fiberglass mast. When installed with an appropriate radial system, the Rapide2 achieves efficient quarter-wave vertical performance with natural resonance and low SWR on every band, with no traps, coils or antenna tuners. Band-hopping, DXing and simultaneous multi-band operations are supported. The Rapide2 antenna is rated at 1500W SSB/CW, 375W FT8 and other digital modes.

Alpha Antenna Low Profile Lite HF Base Vertical Antennas

Alpha Antenna Low Profile Lite HF Base Vertical Antennas cover the 10 to 80 meters amateur bands and are considered the 'lite' version of the ProMaster Heavy Duty HF Base Vertical Antenna. This antenna system features an easy-to-deploy telescopic stainless-steel whip, which can be retracted when winds of more than 50MPH are expected. The total length of the 17.75ft. vertical whip and the 25.25ft. horizontally sloped element equals the magic number of 43ft., a length used by many excellent systems for multi-band HF antenna operation from 80 to 10 meters. The last element is an 8ft. grounded counterpoise wire, which completes the circuit by creating a static drain for noise, making it easier to hear other stations.

DX Commander Venture HF Multi-Band Vertical Antennas

DX Commander Venture HF Multi-Band Vertical Antennas are designed for portable operation. The design is built on the proven success of other DX Commander antennas but optimized for portable operation. Efficiently resonant on 40, 20 and 15 meters, the DX Commander Venture is designed for some of the most popular bands for portable operation. Using the same principals as a fan dipole, with several vertical wire elements of various resonant lengths attached to a common feedpoint. The Wire elements and any supporting ropes are arranged on spacer plates with "speed slots" around the non-conductive fiberglass mast. When a proper radial system is attached to the radial plate, the Venture will achieve quarter-wave vertical performance with natural resonance and low SWR on the bands it's configured for with no antenna tuner required. Band hopping DXing and simultaneous multi-band multiplex operations are supported. The Venture is rated at 1500W SSB/CW, 400W FT8 and other digital modes. The Venture antenna is only 23 feet (7 m) so setup is a cinch in the field. SWR bandwidth is typically 300 kHz on the bands the antenna is cut for. The Venture, while being designed for 40, 20 and 15 meters, can be used on 10 and 6 meters with an antenna tuner. DX Commander Venture Features and Specifications: Ground Post: Supplied with a Fiberglass Ground post. Alloy Plates: Aircraft quality 5251 alloy, laser cut in England before deburring to give that "hammered" look, which eliminates sharp edges and provides a nice finish. Spreader Plates: Marine-grade high-density polyethylene sheet material from USA, charcoal-gray, UV and environmentally stabilized to withstand the harshest of marine and high RF conditions. Spreader Plates are machine cut in England to DX Commander specifications. Shock Cord: Marine Grade shock-cord, with a UV and RF stable Dyneema woven exterior. Hardware: Kit includes Stainless Steel bolts, wing nuts, and spade connectors. Coaxial Connector: UHF Female SO-239 coaxial connector, nickel plated brass with PTFE dielectric. Fiberglass Poles: Made to DX Commander specifications in a spiral wound fiber, high-quality epoxy and paint finish. DX10 Wire: Made in England for DX Commander, DX10 wire has an outstanding reputation for both strength and in particular, extreme flexibility. The insulation is "arctic grade" and still flexible down to -40° F. Originally designed for military use, this insulation is particularly strong but highly flexible and the stranded annealed copper wire is approximately 19 AWG and is made from 24 strands of 0.008 in. (0.2mm) wire. All DX Commander Venture Antenna Kits come with everything you need (except the patio): • Rapide2 Mast – 23 ft. (7m) Extended Height • Supplied with a 1.50 in. (38mm) Fiberglass Ground Post • The DX Commander Ground Plate – 0.128 in. (3mm) thick laser cut 5251 alloy, with the hole for the included SO-239 assembly and 6 pre-drilled holes for the ground radials. Use up to 4 wires per connector and you can double up on connectors to achieve 48 radials total. • The Driven Plate – 0.128 in. (3mm) thick with pre-drilled holes for the three bands that the antenna is cut for. • The Venture kit comes with 3 spreader plates with speed slots to help facilitate setup in the field. One of the spreader plates has three holes to attach guy ropes to. • 328 ft. (100m) of DX10 Antenna Wire – cut all the elements first, then cut radials with the remaining wire. • SO-239 Coaxial Connector Assembly • Selection of Spade Connectors • Marine Dyneema Shock-Cord • Glue Lined Shrink-Wrap • Stainless Steel Hardware.

Diamond Antenna BB7V Multi-Band Vertical Antennas

Diamond Antenna BB7V broadband vertical antennas provide coverage from 2 MHz to 30 MHz without radials. Typically a tuner is required for most frequencies. In their nested configuration, they are only 60 in. long and weigh in at 4.5 lbs. Diamond BB7 antennas have 6 telescoping sections that extend to a length of 22 ft. when fully deployed. The telescoping sections are self-locking (no hardware to lose) and can be raised or lowered in less than a minute. For permanent use, the sections can be locked in place with a single screw per section. The extreme ease of raising and lowering these antennas makes them a favorite of those who have antenna restrictions or travelers who want a quick and easy wideband antenna solution. Diamond BB7V antennas are very slim, low-profile antennas that blend easily into their surroundings.
