Yaesu G-450ADC Medium-Duty Rotator Systems
Yaesu G-450ADC Medium-Duty Rotator Systems are the entry-level rotator and controller that are perfect for small HF beams, a tri-bander or VHF and UHF antennas up to about 10 sq. ft. of tower-mounted wind load. A lesser wind load of about 5 sq. ft. can be handled when mounting the G-450ADC on top of a mast with the optional lower mast bracket, GC-038. Rotate Amateur and professional antennas with the Yaesu's handsome 120 Vac desktop remote control console, featuring a compass-style indicator at the station operating position. The G-450ADC rotator system provides 450 degrees of azimuth rotation in just over one minute. The rotator handles masts of 1.25 to 2.48 in. outside diameter and, when tower mounted, a total vertical mast load up to 200 lbs. In the Yaesu G-450ADC, the clamshell rotator design utilizes 98 heavy 7/16-inch dual-stacked circumferential ball bearings to distribute load over the full diameter of the housing. This design minimizes stress and wear, and practically eliminates the possibility of destructive water entry: there is no shaft hole in the top of the housing. Yaesu's factory-lubricated rotator units are housed in Melamine resin-coated die-cast aluminum intended to provide maintenance-free operation under all climatic conditions. IMPORTANT NOTE: Beginning in 2019 the new Yaesu G-450ADC Rotator motors and controllers operate with a 20 V DC control voltage, four-wire system, using the provided connectors to be installed at each end of the user supplied control cable, same as the previous models. For clarity, the new DC rotator motors are marked "G-450DC" at the connector. The rear panel of the controller is titled "G-450ADC" on the serial number label. WARNING: The legacy Yaesu G-450A Rotator motors and controllers used a 26 VAC control voltage, five-wire system. Therefore, old AC controllers are NOT compatible with new DC rotator motors, and new DC controllers are not compatible with old AC rotator motors. All control cable assemblies for all modern Yaesu rotator systems use the same connectors with "1 to 1 pin-out" connector wiring. Therefore, older cable assemblies are compatible with the new Yaesu G-450ADC components, which only use pins 2, 3, 4 and 5 in each connector. For control cable runs less than 125 ft. use four-conductor, 20 gauge control cable (4 x 20 AWG). If the rotator cable needs to be longer than 125 ft., then use four-conductor 18 gauge cable (4 x 18 AWG). The input voltage for the G-450ADC controller is labeled "117 VAC" to indicate house current of 110 to 120 Vac. DX Engineering Rotator Super Duty Mast Clamps
DX Engineering Rotator Super Duty Mast Clamps are designed to be used where maximum torque handling is required on aluminum, steel, Chromoly steel or stainless steel mast tubing, significantly improving the connection between the rotator and the directional antenna rotating mast over other types of mast clamps. With the choice of two Super Duty Saddle Clamps or the "HD" model with three Super Duty Saddle Clamps, these remarkable rotator mast clamps are available in three sizes; for a 2 inch OD mast (DXE-SDMC-2 and -2HD), a 2.5 inch OD mast (DXE-SDMC-2-5 and -2-5HD) and a 3 inch OD mast (DXE-SDMC-3 and -3HD), intended for use only on tubing, not for fractional sized pipe. Rotator Super Duty Mast Clamps are designed and manufactured to mate with the DX Engineering DXE-RT4500HD Heavy Duty Rotator. Each powder coated steel Super Duty Mast Clamp vertical plate has holes for the applicable Super Duty Clamps and the base plates have an integral weep channel to ensure moisture is not trapped in the mast. These mast clamps are complete, supplied with two (standard) or three (HD) Super Duty Saddle Clamps, stainless steel backing plates, rugged 8-18 stainless steel 3/8-16 hex mounting and clamp bolt sets, with all fastener hardware included. Unlike stamped or machined-type clamps, Super Duty Saddle Clamps are cast from a rugged aluminum alloy that grips tubing with a special textured surface for an incredibly secure fit that resists torque, wind and weather. All three sizes, DXE-SDMC-2/-2HD, DXE-SDMC-2.5/- 2.5HD and DXE-SDMC-3/-3HD can be used on Rohn 45 and larger towers. Only the 2 inch mast versions DXE-SDMC-2 and -2HD will fit inside Rohn 25G towers. NOTE: Whenever the planned installation of mast mounted rotatable antennas will have a total wind load or wind exposure rating of 18 square feet or more, the use of a 2.5 or 3.0 inch OD mast with a DX Engineering Rotator Super Duty Mast Clamp is highly recommended.

EA4TX ARS-USB Rotator Controller Interfaces
EA4TX ARS-USB Rotator Controller Interfaces are universal computer interfaces for automating your antenna rotator. These low-cost USB rotor controller interfaces are available in two versions--one for azimuth rotators and the other for azimuth and elevation rotators. Connect the ARS-USB to your PC via the USB port, and it appears as a serial COM port for most logging and satellite tracking programs. These interfaces emulate the Yaesu GS232A rotator control protocol, so programs that offer Yaesu rotator control are immediately compatible. Any rotator unit with directional feedback is supported and may be easily calibrated internally in the ARS-USB. The user manual, linked below, also details how internal jumpers make it a snap to adapt the ARS-USB to almost any rotator controller. Alternatively, use a separate power supply or a transformer from a manual controller for your rotator unit to make the ARS-USB a stand-alone rotator controller. The ARS-USB also requires 12 Vdc for operation and features a permanently connected DC wire with stripped leads. A software disc and USB cable for the interface connection to the computer are included. IMPORTANT: For use with Windows 10 visit the EA4TX website and download ARSVCOM v6.8. DX Engineering Rotator Top HD Mast Clamps
DX Engineering Rotator Top HD Mast Clamps significantly improve the connection between the rotator and the mast. The mast gripping pressure of these clamps is completely adjustable, by limiting the torque applied to the included clamping fasteners. Available in two sizes, for 2 inch OD and 3 inch OD masts, based on the K7NV design, these are the heavy-duty original equipment mast clamps for the DX Engineering RT4500HD Rotator. The 2 inch OD HD Mast Clamp is also a heavy-duty replacement for M2 Antennas OR2800 Positioners and Yaesu G2800-DXA, G1000-DXA, and G800-DXA Rotators. The 3 inch OD HD Mast Clamp version fits only the DXE-RT4500HD and M2 OR2800. NOTE: When the mast mounted rotatable antenna(s) installed have a wind load or wind exposure rating of a total of 18 square feet or more, the use of a 3 inch OD mast and mast clamp are highly recommended. Hamplus HR-100L Rotator Controller with PC Interface
The Hamplus HR-100L Rotator Controller was developed to offer an inexpensive solution for manual and PC control of all models of rotators that use a 24 volt DC motor and a position indicating potentiometer. It is specifically designed to connect to any existing Yaesu rotator and control cable. This compact desktop unit features a black front panel with four illuminated directional memory buttons, a red three-digit LCD display to indicate rotator azimuth, an azimuth selection encoder knob, two buttons for CW and CCW advance, a special +180° button for an easy Long Path selection, two LEDs to indicate the ends of rotation and one LED in the LCD to indicate overlap. The HR-100L also has an RS-232 Serial port for PC control with any third party software, such as rig control and logging software, which supports the Yaesu protocol for rotators. A rear panel switch selects either 120VAC or 240VAC input voltage and the Yaesu style 6-pin connector is ready for the control cable to any Yaesu or 24VDC rotator, including G-450DC, G-800DXA, G-1000DXA and G-2800DXA, as well as other brands that use a similar configuration.
