InnovAntennas 50 MHz LFA3-HG 5-Element Yagi was designed to have the best gain on a relatively short boom. This antenna offers forward gain of 10.7 dBi (16.2 dBi at 10m above ground) and an exceptional 31 dB front-to-back rating with SWR less than 1.4:1 in the 50-50.4 MHz range. The low profile LFA3 dipole achieves a significant reduction of noise, allowing clear reception of much weaker signals, a key component of operational improvements and success.

The LFA3-HG has a 12.8 ft. boom and a low 2 sq. ft. wind load, making this beam ideal for typical 6 meter stations as well as for stacking to maximize gain, especially when available space restricts the use of a longer boom Yagi. It features a 1.25 in. (32mm) 16-guage square aluminum tubing boom for rugged reliability and low weight. This antenna is made with single piece 5/8 inch (15.88mm) element centers, 1/2 inch (12.7mm) tips with loop ends made with 3/8 inch (9.525mm). The antenna has fully insulated elements which will ensure continuous, high performance for many years to come.

The introduction of the loop-shaped and phase-fed dipole achieves considerably fewer side lobes in the Yagi directional pattern. With less energy absorbed from the sides and from behind, these antennas becomes quieter and they achieve a higher forward gain. The 50 MHz Monoband LFA Yagis from G0KSC represent a significant advancement in the development of Yagi antennas.
