Alpha Delta Coaxial Switch Replacement Arc-Plugs®
Alpha Delta Coaxial Switch Replacement Arc-Plugs® are designed to reduce the hazards of lightning-induced or other high-voltage induced surges. When hit with a surge, they will short to ground, protecting your equipment, and will remain shorted and must be removed or replaced in order to continue operation. As with all lightning protection; these surge plugs will not prevent fire or damage caused by a direct lightning strike to an antenna, power lines, or other structure. Alpha Delta D4 Coaxial Switch Replacement Arc-Plugs® are direct replacements for Alpha Delta Coaxial Switch model Delta-2 and Delta-4 series switches. As when used in Alpha Delta Coaxial Switches, D4 Replacement Arc-Plugs® are rated at 1,500 watts CW and SSB PEP, ICAS, at an SWR under 2:1. Lightning surges do lots of damage annually. Unified Microsystems High-Side Driver Modules
Unified Microsystems High-Side Driver Modules, (HSD-9), are the easy way to adapt a BCD-10, BCD-14, or other low-side band switching decoder to a high-side antenna or filter switch. They provide nine channels of high-side relay control when used with low-side drivers. Antenna switches are always either high-side or low-side switched. There are advantages to each, but it's a pain if your decoder and switch are different types. These HSD-9s are a convenient way to convert the BCD series or other decoders to high-side switching. Simply place an HSD-9 between the BCD-10 and your switch. Specifications: * Nine channels of control when used with BCD-10 selector modules * Board dimensions: 2.4 in. by 1.9 in. * Maximum voltage: 24V DC * Maximum current: 1A Note: Use of an HSD-9 REQUIRES a companion BCD-10 or BCD-14 Band Decoder/Antenna Selector Module or other low-side band-switching decoder.
