VA6AM Engineering HF Band-Pass Filters

VA6AM Engineering HF Band-Pass Filters are very high-quality multi-stage inline passive electronic devices designed to specifically limit the transmitting and receiving RF passband to a single Amateur band. They provide the clear benefit of a dramatically lower noise floor for enhanced single-band weak signal reception that is desired by DXers, elite contesting stations and Field Day operations. Used individually on mono-band radio and antenna combinations, these filters provide the isolation required, eliminating image and harmonic RF interference issues for dedicated mono-band operations in multi-radio contesting environments. Required for use with transmit multiplexers, these filters provide the additional isolation needed to allow multiple transceivers to be operated on different bands simultaneously on the same antenna.

VA6AM Engineering HF Multiplexers

VA6AM Engineering HF Multiplexers are transmit and receive capable Diplexers and Triplexers that are sophisticated RF filtering splitter/combiners. Always used along with monoband HF Band-Pass Filters, they allow multi-transceiver stations to share a single multi-band antenna, simplifying multi-op antenna systems. Supplied with standard UHF Female/SO-239 connectors, HF transmit multiplexers are great for Field Day, contesting and multi-op DXing. Use them anytime you need to operate multiple rigs on one multi-band antenna! Insertion loss is negligible; typically, less than 0.2dB in band! VA6AM Engineering Diplexers and Triplexers provide good levels of isolation between band ports. The multiplexer's main purpose is to provide 50-ohm SO-239 connections for multiple transceivers and balance the impedances for a single 50-ohm feedline to a multi-band antenna. Alternatively, VA6AM Engineering Diplexers and Triplexers can be used to combine multiple low-SWR resonant antennas into a switchless multiband system for a single transceiver.

RF Meca 200W Transmit Band Pass Filters

RF Meca 200W Transmit Band Pass Filters are perfect for contesting at low power and for DXpeditions when multiband antennas are used. These high-quality bandpass filters, from the French manufacturer RF Meca, feature an HF-tight sheet metal housing to maintain optimal functionality and signal integrity. Advantages of RF Meca Bandpass Filters. Reduction of Interference: Band pass filters block unwanted signals outside the target frequency band, minimizing interference from adjacent frequencies and improving signal quality. Improved Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR): By suppressing noise and interference outside the desired frequency range, band pass filters enhance the SNR. This makes it easier for the receiver to detect weak signals in the target frequency band, effectively increasing the system's sensitivity. Avoiding Overload: Strong signals outside the target band can overload the receiver and cause distortion. Band pass filters prevent this by allowing only the desired frequency band to pass through. Avoidance of Harmonic Interference: Band pass filters help suppress harmonic and other non-linear distortions that could radiate into neighboring bands.

SOTAbeams USB Battery Pack Keep-Alive Load Kits

SOTAbeams USB Battery Pack Keep-Alive Load Kits are easily assembled PC Board kits that provide an adjustable USB DC load. Some power banks and many USB battery packs switch off (go into a sleep mode) if the current being drawn is too low. This means that your device works for a few minutes and then stops. Often just a few extra milliamps current draw will keep the battery pack alive. There are various circuits on the web that give a pulsed load which works with some battery packs - but unfortunately SOTAbeams' tests have shown that such circuits don't work reliably with all battery packs. Just plug one of these Keep-Alive Load Kits into your battery pack and increase the current until battery pack stays on reliably (usually between 6 - 150 mA). Depending on the current that your powered device takes it may be a little as a few milliamps. An on-board LED indicates if the battery pack is live. The load supports a standard USB data connection. USB plug and socket for easy in-line connection. A heat-shrink sleeve is provided to protect the unit in the field. Don't have your WSPRlite lose its power source! Keep it powered up with SOTAbeams USB Battery Pack Keep-Alive Load Kits from DX Engineering.
