West Mountain Radio ClearSpeech DSP Noise Reduction Speakers contain West Mountain's ClearSpeech noise reduction circuit and an audio amplifier. They are extremely effective in improving communication clarity, making mobile and base operation less fatiguing and more fun. These speakers may be mounted in any location—they can rest on a tabletop or mount to any surface. Their included mounting bracket has two holes for mounting, and side-located adjustment knobs permit tilt aiming. West Mountain Radio CLRdsp ClearSpeech® Noise Reduction Processors are designed to be installed between your radio and your favorite passive external speaker or amplified speaker. Complex DSP algorithms filter all of the noise content of the incoming signal and greatly attenuate or completely remove hum, hiss, vehicle ignition, and power line noise, as well as heterodynes. The result: the ability to hear voice and CW audio clearly, with over 85 percent of the noise removed. These units have a convenient volume-control knob that allows a user to adjust the speaker audio level for comfortable listening. This allows the radio's AF Gain control setting to be optimized for other uses, such as interfacing to a West Mountain Radio RIGblaster sound card interface.
