bhi 5W DSP Noise Cancelling Speaker Retrofit Modules incorporate unique Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology which can identify speech from within a noisy signal and can provide up to 40 dB of noise reduction over 8 filter levels and 65 dB of tone reduction. Easily retrofitted inside many types of extension speakers or older-style radios and transceivers, these modules come pre-wired and their onboard power amplifier allows them to be easily incorporated into existing equipment.

West Mountain Radio CLRdsp ClearSpeech® Noise Reduction Processors are designed to be installed between your radio and your favorite passive external speaker or amplified speaker. Complex DSP algorithms filter all of the noise content of the incoming signal and greatly attenuate or completely remove hum, hiss, vehicle ignition, and power line noise, as well as heterodynes. The result: the ability to hear voice and CW audio clearly, with over 85 percent of the noise removed. These units have a convenient volume-control knob that allows a user to adjust the speaker audio level for comfortable listening. This allows the radio's AF Gain control setting to be optimized for other uses, such as interfacing to a West Mountain Radio RIGblaster sound card interface.
