Amphenol RF Type-N Male Crimp Connectors were developed to satisfy the need for a durable, weatherproof, medium-size RF connector with consistent performance through 11 GHz. Because of their superior performance, N-connectors are found on many Amateur VHF and UHF antennas. Their primary applications are the termination of small 50 ohm coaxial cables, including RG-8X, LMR-240 and other cables of the same size. RF coaxial connectors are the most important elements in the cable system.
