4O3A Adapters for NC-1 MC-1 Boom Mic Headsets
4O3A Adapters for NC-1 MC-1 Boom Mic Headsets are essential for adapting the MC1 red 3.5mm microphone plug to the connector on your Icom, Kenwood or Yaesu transceiver. The red coded mic cable plug goes to the 3.5mm female jack on the adapter cable. The green coded headphone plug goes to the 3.5mm female headphone jack (or adapter) on your transceiver. The 8-pin round mic connector on the adapter cable plugs into the microphone jack on your transceiver. The 1/4 in. the female jack on these adapter cables are for connecting a Push-To-Talk (PTT) footswitch or hand switch, both are sold separately. Without a PTT footswitch or hand switch, your radio can still be used in VOX mode. A Y-Adapter (O3A-4O-3-5MAFEST) is also available to connect the NC-1 headset to the TRRS headphone/mic jack of a mobile device or other electronics. NOTE: These adapters do not come with the NC-1 headset. Each are sold separately.
