DX Engineering RG-6U 75-ohm Flooded Quad Shield Coaxial Cable
DX Engineering RG-6U 75-ohm Flooded Quad Shield Coaxial Cable is our top-of-the-line, direct-bury RG-6. It has low RF signal loss and provides greater protection against electromagnetic interference. Available cut-to-length by-the-foot or in 1,000 ft. spools, this is the best ultra-high quality RG-6/U self-healing quad-shield cable solution. This cable may be terminated in the field with black EX6XL Type-F Universal Compression Connectors, also available from DX Engineering. DXE-RG-6UFQ cable is ideal for many receiving applications including active or passive HF Amateur Radio and SWL receive antenna arrays and systems, LW and MW magnetic loop antennas, Beverage antennas, over-the-air TV, AM and FM broadcast reception, CATV systems and video distribution and satellite radio installations such as Sirius/XM. In fact, the low-loss characteristic of our RG-6 cable is excellent for digital audio up through microwave frequencies of satellite radio systems! Our RG-6 flooded quad shield cable has gas-injected polyethylene foam dielectric for the lowest loss and maximum moisture resistance. With an 18 AWG copper-clad steel center conductor it is extremely strong and durable. Two foil shields plus two high-density aluminum braids provide ultimate four-layer RF shielding. The waterproof UV protected black jacket is made with a tough and flexible polyethylene (PE). This cable is infused with a flooding compound that provides a permanent barrier to moisture and is self-healing to minor cuts. The nominal impedance of DXE-RG-6UFQ cable is 75 ohms with a nominal Velocity Factor of 82% (VF = 0.82). The minimum bend radius is 2.500 in. Beware of cheaply made cable with unknown impedance and loss characteristics. If some other cable is substantially less expensive, that should tell you something, right? DX Engineering RG-6U 75-ohm Flooded Quad-Shield Coaxial Cable is absolutely the best RG-6 quad-shield cable available and it is RoHS compliant! Check these super low attenuation figures! 5 MHz: 0.6 dB/100 ft. 30 MHz: 1.1 dB/100 ft. 55 MHz: 1.6 dB/100 ft. Losses at 1.8 MHz are virtually insignificant over several hundreds of feet of this coaxial cable. It can be used for low band receive antennas and arrays without the complications of using a preamp at the antenna. Are you installing or upgrading a Low Band receiving antenna or a CATV or satellite video distribution system that uses RG-6/U Quad cable? If so, then order the new benchmark in RG-6 cable: DX Engineering RG-6U 75-ohm Flooded Quad Shield Coax. Your efforts will be rewarded with the results that you expect, using the best cable from DX Engineering.

DX Engineering 2.1mm DC Accessory Power Cables
DX Engineering 2.1mm DC Accessory Power Cables are just the ticket for connecting power to many standard ham radio accessories. The 2.1mm coaxial power connector has nearly become a standard in the electronics industry. Many devices requiring low voltage and small current values use this connector. Examples include wattmeters, antenna tuners, preamps, keyers and even some handheld transceivers use these connectors. Most charts rate 24 AWG wire at 3.5 amps. These 2-conductor power cables are easily good to 2 amps with considerable margin. A two amp rating will power most small accessories. Check your needs and then order DX Engineering 2.1mm DC Accessory Power Cables for your shack. Keep a couple available for when you misplace a cable or buy a product without one!
