Powerpole® Connectors with Plated Silver Contacts maximize performance and reliability by offering up to 10,000 mating cycles before failure. They are even recommended for circuit interrupt or hot-plug applications. That means you won't have to shut down your shack supply every time you want to disconnect a peripheral device. Powerpole® Standard Housings allow you to color code, or just change the color of, your Powerpole® connectors. Their standard housings are available in a wide array of colors. The metal Power Contacts are not included with these housings, but are available separately. These standard housings will not mate with the finger-proof housings. Powerpole® Ultrasonically Welded Standard Housings feature connector housings that are ultrasonically welded to create a one-piece connector unit using an APP® special process. After welding, retaining pins are no longer required to secure the stacked housings to each other. This allows Powerpole® 15-45 connectors to be used as durable one-piece connector headers. Retention clips prevent Powerpole® 15-45 blocks from unintended disconnection. They feature a small finger tab for easy insertion and removal. Once your Powerpole® connection has been made, inserting a retention clip will keep the connection from easily pulling apart. Organize and connectorize!
