Featuring superior gripping power, our new Heavy-Duty Saddle Clamps are available in six different sizes, to fit tubing with Outside Diameter (OD) inch sizes of 0.75, 1.00, 1.25, 1.50, 1.75, and 2.00. DX Engineering Heavy Duty Saddle Clamps are designed to be used where maximum torque handling is required on aluminum, steel or stainless steel tubing. Conceived of by builders of large and heavy Yagi antennas and Log Periodic arrays, these clamps are made in sizes that securely fit the outside diameter of tubing for mounting to a flat plate or surface. Their wide gripping surface equals superior clamping power!

Perfect for antenna construction and mounting, or wherever standard U-bolt saddle clamps and other torque-control products have proven inadequate, our Heavy Duty Saddle Clamps provide excellent grip on booms, masts and element tubing. Unlike stamped or machined-type clamps, Heavy Duty Saddle Clamps are cast from a rugged aluminum alloy that grips tubing with a special textured surface and are sized for an incredibly secure fit that resists torque, wind and weather.

Heavy Duty Saddle Clamps include two cast aluminum saddles (two halves) and a stainless steel reinforcement plate for high strength and superior corrosion resistance. Due to the wide diversity of clamping applications where Heavy Duty clamps are beneficial, mounting hardware is NOT included. However, a complete line of Armor-Coated and Stainless Steel Hex Bolt Hardware Sets are available for top performance in most mounting applications. Typical Heavy Duty clamp mounting applications on a 1/4 in. plate require a minimum length bolt set, as indicated in the chart, linked in "More Detail…," and displayed in the "Required Parts" tab.

For larger tubing attachment applications with ultimate gripping strength, DX Engineering Super Duty Saddle clamps are also available for 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0 in. O.D. sizes.
