Diamond Antenna SX600 Dual Power Meters

Diamond Antenna SX600 Dual Power Meters provide a switchable selection of metering from one of two directional couplers in one box! Select the 1.8 to 160 MHz coupler for your Low-Band/VHF rig or select the 140 to 525 MHz coupler for your VHF/UHF rig. Since there are two separate couplers, you can leave the SX600 in-line with both rigs at the same time! The SX600 measures forward/reflected power and SWR using a single sweep meter. With three full-power scales of 5, 20, and 200 watts, the SX600 provides handheld, QRP, and high power operating levels. With most of today's rigs providing 200 watts or less, the SX600 will satisfy the vast majority of transceivers. Their compact size makes these meters useful for testing both base and mobile installations. Low insertion loss and accurate readings mean that your station will operate to peak efficiency. Speaking of peaks, these meters will read peak watts, as well as RMS! That's so handy when operating SSB on HF or VHF/UHF bands! Note: For additional product information, please look at the files under the "Documentation" tab. When you need the features and flexibility of a dual-input power/SWR meter, one of these Diamond Antenna SX600 Dual Power Meters from DX Engineering is the obvious choice!

LDG Electronics TW-1 Talking SWR/Wattmeters

LDG Electronics TW-1 Talking SWR/Wattmeters provide an aural spoken indication of power and SWR using a digitally recorded voice. It is ideal for the visually impaired or for those times when you need to look elsewhere while still obtaining power and SWR measurements. At the press of a button, the TW-1 speaks the forward power, reverse power or SWR. Three languages are available: English, Spanish and German and it includes an internal top firing speaker; no external audio hookups are needed. The TW-1 also offers a continuous tone mode for tuning. Simply press and hold the Forward button and a tone indicates power. As you adjust your amplifier or antenna tuner, a higher tone indicates higher power. This is perfect for peaking your amplifier while keeping a close watch on the grid current. You can select either long or short voice reports (verbose or terse modes). Long reports include descriptors like "thousand" or "hundred" and end with "forward watts" or "reverse watts". Short reports speak only the numerical value of the measurement you've selected for a quick reading. The TW-1 needs just 1W to operate, but will handle up to 2000W PEP, making it suitable for everything from QRP to full legal limit. The TW-1 is accurate to ± 5% of reading across the entire power range and resolution is 1W or 1% of reading (whichever is higher). The microprocessor controlled TW-1 can easily be upgraded in the field with a simple chip exchange. It requires 11-15VDC at 200mA maximum (power supply not included) but consumes minimal current when not speaking. Suitable for mobile use, simply install it in a convenient location near your operating position and provide 12VDC through a fused line (fuse not included, LDG recommends a 2 amp fast-blow fuse). SWR Tone mode is especially useful for tuning a "screwdriver" antenna while watching the road. (LDG strongly recommends that you pull over to a complete stop before adjusting your antenna) The November 2005 issue of QST Magazine features an exhaustive review of the TW-1 starting on page 77. Additional Features and Specifications: -Frequency Range 1.8-54.0MHz -Power rating: 0-2000W PEP, Auto-Ranging -Speech: Speaks Forward and Reverse power in watts, as well as SWR -Languages: English, Spanish, German -Continuous tone for making amplifier or tuner adjustments -Accuracy: ± 5% of reading across entire HF range (± 10% on 6M) -Power requirements: 11-15VDC at 200 mA Max (user supplies power source) -2x UHF female SO239 Connectors -2.5mm x 5.5mm Center Positive DC Power Jack - DC Power cable included!
