Coaxial Dynamics Broadband Multirange Directional RF Wattmeters

Commercial-grade VHF/UHF wattmeters don't have to be outside the ham's budget! Coaxial Dynamics Broadband Multirange Directional RF Wattmeters and Peak Reading Broadband Wattmeters are reasonably priced and very easy to use. Just connect the wattmeter between the RF power source and antenna or dummy load, select the power range, then rotate the broadband non-removable element to select the forward or reflected direction. The RF power is directly displayed on the large, 4-1/2 in. mirrored meter. Coaxial Dynamics Broadband Multirange Directional RF Wattmeters allow you to measure RF power in 50-Ohm coaxial cable and transmission lines across a wide VHF/UHF frequency range without the need for additional plug-in elements. Peak Reading models are designed to measure RF power in amplitude modulated systems such as television, telemetry, radar and peak envelope power (PEP) such as SSB and AM signals. A special non-removable Broadband Element and power selection switch allows power measurement on one of 5 selectable full-scale ranges of 5, 15, 50, 150, and 500 watts or 15, 50, 150, 500 and 1,500 watts across frequencies of 25 to 1000 MHz. When making measurements below 100 MHz, simply multiply the meter reading by the correction factor found conveniently on the back of the wattmeter. Versatile and strong, these wattmeters are protected by a rugged, virtually indestructible shock-proof housing. Coaxial Dynamics wattmeters employ a rugged shock mounted meter for dependable readings. Along with superior taut band meter technology, they provide consistently accurate readings that satisfy both the US Navy and Canadian standards for shock and vibration. Coaxial Dynamics RF Peak Reading Wattmeters

Would you like commercial-grade quality and peak-power measuring capability on a budget? When you need measurements in the 2 to 2300 MHz frequency range and from 100 mW to 10 kW, you need to get your hands on one of these Coaxial Dynamics RF Peak Reading Wattmeters! Combined with the appropriate element, Coaxial Dynamics RF wattmeters are very easy to use. Just connect the wattmeter between the RF power source and antenna or dummy load then rotate the element to select the forward or reflected direction. The RF power is displayed directly on the large, 4-1/2 in. triple-scale mirrored meter. Peak reading meters are designed to measure RF power in peak envelope power (PEP) such as SSB (single-sideband), DSB (double-sideband) and AM (amplitude modulation) signals. Interchangeable standard plug-in elements, such as those used with Coaxial Dynamics averaging meters, work with these peak-reading meters. To complement each application and specific requirement, Plug-In Elements are selected separately by power and frequency ranges. Similar in appearance and operation to their standard wattmeters, these devices convert from average reading to peak reading with the flip of a switch! This is accomplished by inserting a peak-reading amplifier between the element and the meter. With peak reading circuitry that operates on one 9 volt replaceable alkaline transistor battery (supplied), normal, portable usage is possible for at least 90 days or the life of the battery. This is your assurance of complete and dependable accuracy! Self-contained and requiring no line power in either Peak or Average mode, these RF wattmeters are the right choice for portability and functionality. Note: For additional product information, please look at the files under the "Documentation" tab. Coaxial Dynamics RF Peak Reading Directional Wattmeters are ideal for professional and Amateur Radio measurements and offer commercial quality, accuracy and flexibility that everyone can afford. West Mountain Radio CBA Battery Discharge Amplifiers

West Mountain Radio CBA Battery Discharge Amplifiers make testing batteries at high discharge rates easier than ever! These amplifiers are very simple in concept: They are a DC amplifier that amplifies and regulates discharge current (load) with a total of 10X amplification-factor as set by the software. The Computerized Battery Analyzer (CBA) is actually doing one-tenth of the discharge work and the amplifier is doing the other nine-tenths. The amplifier simply senses the current drawn by the CBA and amplifies the discharge current setting of the CBA for a total of ten times the set current. CBA Battery Discharge Amplifiers are designed and recommended only for COMMERCIAL OR INDUSTRIAL use. They are not intended for a hobbyist, as they will easily test batteries at destructive limits. It is NOT recommended to test batteries at advertised maximum ratings--maximum discharges may significantly shorten the life-cycle of a battery. CBA Battery Discharge Amplifiers are designed to be left in-line and switched off for discharge rates that are less than 100 watts or less than 10 amps. At these power levels, a CBA alone can handle the discharge current. If your battery analyzer application calls for a high rate of discharge when performing battery testing, then contact DX Engineering today for one of these West Mountain Radio CBA Battery Discharge Amplifiers! Look at these specifications! * Max. continuous discharge rate: 500 W * Discharge rate amplification (typical): 10X +/- 1% * Absolute-maximum operating voltage: 55 V * Max. discharge rate: 160 A (battery dependent) * Min. voltage for 160A discharge: 0.9 V at test completion (battery dependent) * Connectors: Supplied copper bus 5/16 bronze battery connectors; Powerpole CBA connectors * Fan operation: Auto sense, requires 1A or more current from CBA (stays on approx. 5 min. after test completion) Note: For additional product information, please look at the files under the "Documentation" tab. West Mountain Radio CBA Battery Discharge Amplifiers from DX Engineering are the best way to do detailed battery analysis!
