Davis Instruments wireless repeaters extend the range of your wireless station--for miles on end. In testing, Davis achieved an incredible 4 miles (6.4 km) of transmission distance using two of their long-range repeaters equipped with Yagi antennas. The actual range will vary depending on antenna height, the terrain and foliage, buildings, other manmade structures, and RF interference. Nevertheless, these repeaters are ideal for agricultural use or research applications where long distances are an issue. These solar-powered models include a solar panel and lithium backup battery. Long-range antennas are sold separately. Standard wireless repeaters are ideal for most applications. They use the same dipole antenna found on all of their wireless stations and consoles. Useful range is up to 1,000 ft. (300 m) outdoors, line of sight. Typical range through walls is 200 ft.to 400 ft. (60 to 120 m). AC-powered models include a power adapter. WiMo BASE-705 Desk Stand for IC-705 - This very flat steel plate holder for the IC-705 and other devices, gives your portable transceiver the necessary stability on the table or in the field, for portable operations. Due to the very low working height of about 2 inches (5 cm) the IC-705 is at the right height to be used comfortably, unlike mini photo tripods. The WiMo BASE-705 mount is an attractive black powder-coated steel plate that matches the radio. This thin, heavy stand with rubber feet is 7.875 in. (200 mm) wide, 3.937 in. (100 mm) deep and 0.224 in. (5.7 mm) thick and weighs about 1.8 lbs. (840 g). The mount features a standard 1/4 in. threaded stud, so the mounted QRP transceiver is very stable. SOTAbeams Click2Tune Transceiver Keying Switches

SOTAbeams Click2Tune Transceiver Keying Switches are the answer for effortless ICOM low-power tuning. If you use one of many ICOM HF radios with an antenna tuner or amplifier you have noticed the lack of any convenient way to send a low-power carrier for tuning purposes. To do so requires that you to change the mode to AM or FM, reduce the power, and press the PTT. It's annoying in the shack and can be very frustrating in the field. This is all the more of a problem if you use a narrow-band antenna such as a magnetic loop that needs frequent re-tuning. It's also a problem if you use your transceiver with an amplifier. Various "solutions" have been suggested, the most common being a dongle with a capacitor and a resistor. While this works, the tune period is fixed and it will not tune reliably twice in short succession. The fixed tune period is particularly problematic if you use your radio with a high power amplifier, because if you do see a mismatch you'll want to act quickly.
