DX Engineering Porcelain Guy Line Strain Insulators provide the strength, insulation and isolation you need for guyed tower systems. These porcelain insulators accept large guy lines, dead ends or bent-pin shackles and are suitable for all guyed towers where breaking strength for each insulator is not exceeded. DXE-502 insulators are rated at 10,000 lbs. breaking strength. The more-massive DXE-504 insulators take that number to 12,000 lbs. of force. ROHN Galvanized 16-Gauge Steel Masts
ROHN Galvanized 16-Gauge Steel Masts are commonly used with ROHN roof and wall mounts. Well known as the classic TV antenna mast, this swaged tubing features a locking joint to prevent rotational slipping and unwanted antenna rotation. Swaged tubing metal is compressed and made thicker so that the joint is stronger than the original material. Each section fits into the next, with no bulge and no hardware required. ROHN 16-gauge steel mast tubing is offered in two types of finishes, hot-dip galvanized and pre-galvanized. * ROHN hot-dip galvanized tubing is fabricated from high-strength steel and then immersed in molten zinc giving all surfaces, including the interior, an even coating of zinc for maximum corrosion protection. There are no seams, holes, or edges left uncoated. High-volume production provides cost effective light-duty mast tubing. * ROHN pre-galvanized tubing is made from a coil of steel which is galvanized at the steel mill, cut into strips, and then formed into a piece of tubing. Where the tubing is welded, zinc is sprayed over the weld to give it protection. It has a slightly uncoated seam on the inside and ends. The 5 ft. sections may be ground shipped for a fast, easy, and economical support for modest antenna. NOTE: The longer 10 ft. sections must be shipped by truck freight due to their length. DX Engineering Guy Line Guards
DX Engineering Guy Line Guards are used on towers to prevent damage to coaxial cable rotator loops from rubbing directly on metal guy lines or dead ends. Guy Line Guards are a high visibility yellow poly plastic tubing material that is split lengthwise for easy installation on existing guys. Each Guard features a single hole for the included zip-tie to secure it in place. For coax protection they are mounted at the top of the guy lines and, since they are yellow in color, Guy Line Guards may also be mounted at the bottom of the guy lines to warn people that the guy line is present. Guy Line Guards are approximately 45 inches (1.14 m) in length and come in a set of three.

TBX Tower Rotor Plates

TBX Tower Step Kits
To aid in the ease of climbing, TBX Tower Step Kits may be purchased for sections 1, 2, or 3. These step kits are used to provide sure, flat footing instead of relying on diagonal bracing. Select your step kit by matching the kit number with the section number. For example, an SK2 step kit would be used with a TBX2 or TBX2A top section. Each of the tower step kits contains three steps and necessary mounting hardware. These steps are sufficient for one face of a top section. Universal Towers Special Bearing Mount Top Plates
Universal Towers Special Bearing Mount Top Plates are available to be added to the tower package order and welded to the top of the top sections mast tube for the mounting of a thrust bearing. Two Bearing Mount Top Plate versions are available: 1- The special DX Engineering Top Plate is drilled to accommodate the DX Engineering TB-300 2 inch Mast Thrust Bearing and is available for only 2 inch mast tube top section models. 2- The standard Universal Top Plate is drilled to accept the Universal machine-style Thrust Bearing and is available for 2 inch mast and 1-5/8 inch for a smaller mast tube top section model.
