ROHN RAL Series Tower Base Anchors
ROHN RAL Series Tower Base Anchors are designed specifically for RSL towers. Choose the proper product number based upon the bottom tower section. For example, RAL10 is the correct part when an RSL10 is the bottom tower section. RAL Series bases include a foundation template to insure the base is set in the proper place when embedding in concrete. These bases employ a double-nut system that is used for limited tower leveling after the foundation is poured. When you install an RSL tower, remember to order your ROHN RAL Series Tower Base Anchors from DX Engineering as well.

TBX Tower Base Stubs
TBX Tower Base Stubs facilitate mounting the bottom of the tower to the concrete tower base. These are literally stubbed tower-leg sections that are 4 ft. in length. Each base stub number corresponds to the tower section that the stubs fit. That means that a TBX-BS-3 will fit the TBX-3 tower section. The TBX-BS-7/8 will fit both the TBX-7 and TBX-8 tower sections. Use these base stubs to anchor your TBX Tower when NOT using a tilt-base. For tilt-base applications, use the recommended anchor bolts. TBX Towers are deluxe steel towers that won't break the bank! When you want to anchor one of your own TBX towers, contact DX Engineering for some TBX Tower Base Stubs!

ROHN TBSAFETY Turnbuckle Safety Kits
ROHN TBSAFETY Turnbuckle Safety Kits include 45 ft. (15 ft. per guy anchor assembly) of 1/4 in. high strength guy wire to secure your turnbuckles and 6 matching 1/4 in. forged and galvanized U-bolt clips for final fastening of the safety wire on each of three guy anchors. In other words, use 15 ft. of guy wire and 2 clips on each guy-anchor assembly for protection against turnbuckle loosening or catastrophic failure. Turnbuckles, like all metal exposed to the elements, degrade over time. These safety kits thread through the turnbuckles and guy-line terminations (thimbles and eyes) in figure-8 fashion to make everything secure. Don't allow your tower to collapse due to turnbuckle failure. Order your ROHN TBSAFETY Turnbuckle Safety Kits from DX Engineering and make your tower installation safer!

ROHN BPC25G Concrete Base Plates
These ROHN BPC25G Concrete Base Plates provide an easy and secure way to mount your guyed or bracketed ROHN 25G tower to a concrete pier, without the need for embedding a tower section in concrete. With these base plates, only a single 3/4 x 12 in. Pier Pin embedded in the standard concrete base is required to anchor the base of a ROHN 25G Series guyed tower. This is possible since lateral forces are minimized at the base of the tower. A slight pivoting of the pier pin anchored tower base is natural and allowable, as virtually all of the guyed tower forces are exerted vertically onto the concrete pier. BPC25G Concrete Base Plates are completely hot-dip galvanized after fabrication and are designed to work only with Rohn 25G Series straight tower sections. Setting the standard in towers for decades, Rohn has supported more ham antennas than any other brand. Start your tower build with one of these BPC25G Concrete Base Plates from DX Engineering!

ROHN Flat Roof Mounts
ROHN Flat Roof Mounts bolt directly to your flat roof surface to support a guyed ROHN 25G or 45G tower. The flat roof location must be water-tight and reinforced to support tower/antenna weight. These bases require the tower to be guyed or bracketed and cannot be used as a self-supporting base plate. These tower bases use double-bolted attachment joints, which are proven to be the best method of joining tower sections for sturdiness and dependability. The associated tower can be used in guyed or bracketed configurations. Roof mounted tower options may limit potential height considerably by restricted guy line lengths and anchoring options. To mount your ROHN 25G or 45G Series tower to a flat roof, use one of these ROHN Flat Roof Mounts from DX Engineering.

DX Engineering Phillystran Steel Tail Kits
DX Engineering Phillystran Steel Tail Kits provide the appropriate transition from non-metallic to metallic guying cable at the ground end of tower guying systems. Steel Tail Kits are available for Phillystran HPTG-4000I, -6700I and 11200I Guy Lines. What is the function of the steel tail? Here is the recommendation by Phillystran, the manufacturer of HPTG-I High Performance Tower Guy non-metallic guy lines: A steel tail is a length of EHS (Extra High Strength) steel guy line connecting the HPTG-I assemblies to the turnbuckle or guy anchor. The steel tail protects the HPTG-I assemblies from damage due to brush fires, lawn maintenance equipment or vandals. The steel tail length should be sufficient to get the bottom end of the HPTG-I assembly above arm's reach, or above brush tops (if located in a marsh or tall brush area). The HPTG-I should never pass through tree limbs or be allowed to rub against poles or trees. The steel tail allows for easier guy length calculations and serves as a guy tension monitoring point, as well as a safer area to attach guy grips during guy line installation and tensioning. Eliminating the hassle of buying a length of steel cable and obtaining a special tool to cut it, DX Engineering Phillystran Steel Tail Kits provide everything needed to isolate your tower's non-metallic guy cable from harm. Three different size kits are available for different tower guying requirements provided by Phillystran guy cables 4000I, 6700I and 11200I. Here are the items included in these innovative Steel Tail kits: - 12 ft. EHS steel guy line, Galvanized, in three kit sizes, 3/16 in., 1/4 in. or 5/16 in. - Porcelain Guy Line Strain Insulator, 502 or 504 depending upon kit size - Galvanized Steel Preform Dead End Big-Grips for EHS steel guy line, two per line - Heavy Duty Thimble, galvanized steel, appropriately sized for each kit - Cable Ties, UV protected Black, four, to secure installed Big-Grip ends Note: Phillystran guy line and Preform Dead End Big-Grips for Phillystran are not provided in this kit and must be ordered separately. DX Engineering Phillystran Steel Tail Kits provide Porcelain Guy Line Strain Insulators for the top end of the Steel Tail so that the galvanized steel Big-Grips for the Phillystran and for the EHS Steel Guy Lines do not touching and make RF noise. For three different size Phillystran guy line, HPTG-4000I, -6700I and -11200I, these kits are available exclusively from DX Engineering in 3-packs for each level of tower guying.

Universal Towers Packaged Tower Kits
Universal Towers Packaged Tower Kits are engineered antenna support systems using predetermined straight and tapered 10 ft. sections for a self-supporting tower with a safe maximum antenna wind load rating at a specified height. Tapered towers minimize space and weight while maintaining high strength and high wind load ratings in a completely free standing structure that is durable and reliable. Universal Towers feature rugged, heavy-wall aluminum tubing legs and welded S-bracing made of high-quality aluminum for excellent strength as well as light weight. Each welded truss section is fully assembled, finished and supplied with the required hardware for easy installation. These free standing towers can raise large antennas into the open air easily with a concrete anchored hinged base. Universal Towers Packaged Tower Kits provide self-supporting radio antenna towers that actually fit and work where guyed towers cannot. Universal Tower packages are selected by wind load rating to a desired height. Very simply specified, the first number of the model number is the wind load rating* and the second number is the tower height. There will be no doubt that your unique combination of antennas and mast (plus rotator), with a known combined wind load, will stay safely in the air where they belong. Choose your engineered tower package from wind load ratings ranging from 3 to 35 sq. ft. covering heights ranging from 30 to 100 ft., with nearly 50 models to suit almost any location or antenna support requirement. Choose a Standard Duty or Heavy Duty Universal Tower Package to ensure the best reliability for your antenna system. Each Standard Duty package requires a Tower Base, B-14, B-18, B-22 or B-26 to match the bottom section leg spacing in inches. All Heavy Duty tower packages model number start with "HD" and use a B-30 Base for Universal's largest 30 inch bottom section. All bases have three high capacity 6 inch hinge sleeves securely bolted onto three 48 in. steel stubs with which to anchor the tower into the customer supplied reinforced concrete tower foundation; size depends on tower model. Add the appropriate Base to your package to determine tower cost. Please note, additional truck freight costs quoted by Universal are reported by DX Engineering sales. Universal Towers are special ordered by calling DX Engineering to determine options. Packages typically include a mast collar for a 2 in. OD mast with a welded bearing mount top plate specially drilled for the DX Engineering Advanced Design TB-300 thrust bearing, sold separately. Packages with other mast collar sizes and without bearing top plate are available by request. A variety of optional Rotator Plates are also available. Chose yours to fit the top section of the tower package selected; R-11, R-14 or R-18. Each is available undrilled or predrilled for popular rotator models, "-H" for Hy-Gain/CDE or "-Y" for Yaesu. Universal Towers Aluminum Masts in various lengths and sizes are available as well. TBX Tower Packaged Tower Kits
TBX Tower Packaged Tower Kits are complete self-standing tower kits that are strong, yet affordable. Get your HF, VHF or UHF antenna up and into the clear with TBX self-supporting towers—priced competitively to guyed towers, but they fit into a smaller area where guys cannot be installed! These towers feature a strong X Brace design made of pre-galvanized steel with beaded channel legs and riveted construction. The kits use offset-mounting sections, a method that yields a lighter-weight tower that "steps down" in size with each section. Sections are supplied pre-assembled and arrive with the required hardware for an easy installation. TBX Towers are available in 24, 32, 40, 48, 56 and 64 ft. heights. Choose a package from the Standard Tower TBX series, the Heavy-Duty Tower THBX series, or the Extra Heavy-Duty Towers THDBX series. All packages include tower sections, top plate, rotor plate, mast mount and sleeve tube. Standard series towers include an 8 ft. x 1-1/4 in. mast. Each TBX tower package includes a top plate and a rotor plate that are appropriately sized for the provided top section. They're drilled to accommodate mounting stationary mast brackets and clamps. The TBX Rotor Plates have elongated holes that accommodate most CDE, Hy-Gain and Yaesu rotator models. Rotor plates are not intended for mounting thrust bearings and are not drilled for them. If your plans include using a 2 in. mast and thrust bearing, order one of the Extra Heavy-Duty THDBX series tower packages. They have TP-3 Top Plates which are large enough for a 2 in. mast thrust bearing and will accommodate field drilling the thrust bearing mounting holes. This includes the DX Engineering Advanced Design Thrust Bearing model DXE-TB-300 or the old style ROHN TB-3. Drilling is also required for mounting a Yaesu thrust bearing. For each tower package, you must add to your order either a Hinged Base or fixed Base Stubs, to be anchored in your reinforced concrete tower foundation. For more information on TBX Tower Packaged Tower Kits and TBX tower equipment, click on the "Charts & Guides" file link. TBX Tower Packaged Tower Kits provide a self-supporting radio antenna tower that will fit in areas where the real estate for guying a tower doesn't exist!
