ICOM IC-2730A VHF/UHF FM Transceivers
ICOM IC-2730A VHF/UHF FM Transceivers provide VHF/VHF, UHF/UHF simultaneous receive capability in addition to VHF/UHF receive. These transceivers have a built-in duplexer, so you can use a 144 and 430 MHz dual-band antenna without needing an external duplexer. Main dials, volume, squelch knobs and primary control buttons are symmetrically laid out for each band. IC-2730A transceivers employ a durable PA module and deliver 50 watts of high power analog operation on the 2-meter and 70cm bands. CTCSS and DTCS tones are built-in for quiet stand-by and repeater access. CTCSS split tone function allows you to set CTCSS tones separately for repeater uplink and downlink. A single DTCS code may be polarity reversed independently for repeater uplink or downlink. IC-2730A receivers cover 118-174 and 375-550MHz. You will be able to listen to aviation, marine, weather channels and other utility communications. The display size of ICOM's IC-2730A is 1.5 times larger than ICOM's other comparable models. Frequency display and channel names are larger, and the white backlight provides higher contrast.
