Palstar PM2000A Watt Meters

Palstar PM2000A Watt Meters measure and display SWR, forward power up to 2,000 watts, and reflected power simultaneously on a dual movement meter system that operates in the frequency range from 1.8 MHz to 60 MHz. Accuracy of the readings is assured with the PM2000A shielded directional coupler. These backlit meters, which can display average or peak power readings, now have a convenient peak hold function and a push-button selection for 300 watt and 2,000 watt ranges. PM2000A Watt Meters are the improved version of Palstar's best-selling WM150 Wattmeters. When QST tested the PM2000As' predecessor, they found it to be the only wattmeter with true Active Peak Reading. The PM2000As are one of the new generations of watt meters from Palstar. All of the features of the WM150 are integrated into PM2000A meters, now with increased power capability up to 2kW and two-second peak hold metering. To top it off, just like on Palstar tuners, the PM2000A meters have an 11 ga. (0.090 in.) iridite-treated aluminum case with a powdercoated front panel and top cover. Rear panel SO-239 (UHF female) connectors are provided for coaxial cable RF input and output, and a 2.1mm connector provides input for 12 Vdc at less than 200 mA to run the meter circuit and backlight.
