DX Engineering HF Portable TW Antennas and Accessories feature complete portable antenna packages and all of the individual components to build a custom stealthy system. Naturally stealthy, these compact HF vertical-dipole TW antennas feature a black finish that is excellent on fixed antennas in HOAs or where "CC & R" antenna restrictions preclude the installation of towers and easily visible HF antennas. Simply unfold the DXE-TW-BAS-BLK Top and Bottom Sections, add your Band Box Center Post section, and place the antenna on the optional 41 in. long permanent mounting post, DXE-TW-PMP, and operate! Note: Although a permanently-installed mounting pier (DXE-TW-PMP) is available, DX Engineering TW Antenna band boxes are not waterproof. Do not leave your TW Antenna exposed to the elements. For portable use, the lightweight foldable Quadrastand, DXE-TW-AQ, lets you set up your DX Engineering HF Portable TW Antenna wherever you happen to be. Quadrastand's gray fiberglass legs will give decades of rugged, dependable service. And since they're fiberglass, there's no chance of corrosion from contact with earth or sand. Think about equipping for your special operating event plans like Scouts Jamboree On-The-Air (JOTA), Field Day or even SOTA (Summits On-The-Air) for backpacking and general camping with HF! A great Carry Case, DXE-TW-DXBAG, is available to make traveling with these antennas in your car or RV a snap. DX Engineering HF Portable TW Antennas and Accessories are available as mono-band or multi-band systems. Covering all five bands from 20 through 10 meters, DXE-TW-2010 Multi-Band Remote Switching Center Sections include a control console and cable and can be band-switched remotely in the shack and automatically by some transceivers. DXE-TW-2010L Multi-Band antennas can be band-switched manually. Plus, it's easy to change to the 80, 40 and 30 meter operations with DXE-TW-8080, DXE-TW-4040 or the DXE-TW-3030. Swap out each Band Box Center Post to change to operations on these different bands in a very simple manner. Typical installation for TW Antennas is a compact 8.25 ft. tall and only 5 ft. wide. No one ever wants their antennas damaged, but accidents do happen; especially with antennas as portable as these TW Series antennas. Made of high-quality black powder-coated aluminum, these replacement parts are also compatible with older TW portable or stealth antennas. DX Engineering RXSHARE Audio Switch
Multi-operator contesting is challenging, especially when a pair of operators are unable to hear what the other operator is hearing. DX Engineering presents an elegant but simple solution with the "R X SHARE" – a flexible audio switching device that allows two operators to hear exactly what they want to hear, whenever they want to hear it. Audio from two separate radios or one shared radio can be controlled by either operator's three-position rocker switch to select the specific audio they want fed to their stereo headphones. With the RXSHARE Audio Switch placed between each operator, these selections can be changed independently by each operator quickly and easily, at will and on the fly, with the light-touch rocker switches. The RXSHARE has been extensively tested and used in competition by experienced, world-class contesters. Simply stated, the DXE-RXSHARE provides complete control of the radio audio feed to two separate stereo headphones. It is useful for multi-operator and single operator contesting, with two radios or one. The RX SHARE allows each operator to choose to listen to one, the other or both channels of audio. One operator will be able to hear when a new station is ready to be worked, or when the other operator is going to work them. Better coordination and fewer interruptions translates to a higher QSO rate, higher scores and less operator fatigue! Each audio channel is transformer-isolated to prevent ground-coupled crosstalk or RFI. The transformers handle a full 1 watt of audio with configurable impedance levels for clean, non-distorted audio at any volume. Audio from typical radio headphone jacks to the DXE-RXSHARE input phone jacks are quickly and easily connected with user supplied patch cables with 1/4 inch (6.35mm) stereo phone plugs at each end. Alternative cables would be required for transceivers with 1/8 inch (3.5mm) headphone jacks. The unit features two sets of stereo headphone outputs including 1/4 inch (6.35mm) and 1/8 inch (3.5mm) stereo jacks to accommodate headphones or headsets with either type of plug - you'll never hunt for an adaptor again! Audio levels are controlled by the transceiver AF Gain controls.
