Kelemen Trap Dipole Antennas
Kelemen Trap Dipole Antennas are high-quality, heavy-duty pre-assembled wire antennas intended for permanent installations. They feature special traps made with of PTFE (Teflon®) insulated coax for high Q and low losses, offer high performance multi-band operations—and are excellent shortened antennas where there's not enough space for a full-size dipole. Kelemen Trap Dipole Antennas include a series of monoband models, as well as a series of multi-band models that cover an extensive combination of HF bands from 160m through 10 meters. Specific models handle either 400 watts, 1,000 watts or 2,000 watts PEP SSB and CW at resonance. Kelemen Antennas are fully temperature-resistant and weather-proof, and are manufactured from high-quality materials. Balun cases are constructed of transparent, weather-proof polycarbonate with a bottom-mounted SO-239 (UHF female) connector. Hardware and clamps are all stainless steel. Each antenna is completely assembled with the balun, clear PVC-insulated stranded copper wire, stainless wire clamps and egg insulators, ready for operation. Just add rope and coax to complete your Kelemen wire antenna installation. Kelemen Trap Dipole Antennas may be mounted horizontally or in an Inverted-Vee configuration with a central support required. Many Kelemen Antennas are perfect for portable operations because of their low weight. Their coaxial traps are much lighter than conventional traps, making it easier to keep the antenna at an effective height. In many cases they can be easily supported by a single fiberglass pole. For base operations, these antennas should be placed high, in an unobstructed location well away from buildings to limit shifting of resonant frequencies. 4O3A A50 Antenna/Load Switches
4O3A A50 Antenna/Load Switches serve as 50-ohm loads for open ports on the HFC4500 combiner or other multiplexer, preventing tuning degradation. Applying 12V power connects the input to the combiner's output, linking it to the corresponding combiner or filter. A typical setup switches a filter or a combiner to a monoband antenna. When the A50 is not powered, the switch defaults to a 50-ohm termination for the input and the antenna output is open. NOTE: The A50 is NOT an A/B switch. The manufacturer's label of "A/B Switch" is a product grouping, NOT an indication of the function of this product. The LOAD resistor is internal, so one of three connectors is unnecessary, which leaves an open hole in the chassis, a "normal feature" of the A50.

These high-quality bandpass filters, from the French manufacturer RF Meca, feature an HF-tight sheet metal housing to maintain optimal functionality and signal integrity. Advantages of RF Meca Bandpass Filters. Reduction of Interference: Band pass filters block unwanted signals outside the target frequency band, minimizing interference from adjacent frequencies and improving signal quality. Improved Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR): By suppressing noise and interference outside the desired frequency range, band pass filters enhance the SNR. This makes it easier for the receiver to detect weak signals in the target frequency band, effectively increasing the system's sensitivity.
