Kelemen Trap Dipole Antennas
Kelemen Trap Dipole Antennas are high-quality, heavy-duty pre-assembled wire antennas intended for permanent installations. They feature special traps made with of PTFE (Teflon®) insulated coax for high Q and low losses, offer high performance multi-band operations—and are excellent shortened antennas where there's not enough space for a full-size dipole. Kelemen Trap Dipole Antennas include a series of monoband models, as well as a series of multi-band models that cover an extensive combination of HF bands from 160m through 10 meters. DX Engineering Feedpoint Wire and Connector Assemblies
DX Engineering Feedpoint Wire and Connector Assemblies provide a new and unique method of feeding an antenna radiating element. A ring terminal with a 1/4 in. hole is crimped and soldered to a 12 in. long insulated 14 AWG stranded copper wire, complete with weather-protective heat shrink tubing. Then, these feed point wires are terminated to the center pin of an N-type male or UHF male PL-259 with special insulating sleeves and weather-sealing heat shrink. These assemblies are intended to be used with a double female bulkhead connector, mounted into the Radial Plate, for use on an HF vertical antenna, for example. This wire and connector combination allows for the complete weather sealing of a single wire feed point, while properly terminating the feedline shield to the radial system or ground point of the antenna system. DX Engineering Receive Filters
DX Engineering Receive Filters are available individually for use in the NCC-2, RPA-2, RTR-2 or DMC-2 with adapter boards. These filters are also available in sets with mounting fixtures for use in the NCC-1. DX Engineering Receive Filters are numbered for the key Amateur Band on which they function. The Band Pass filter models pass RF only on the numbered band, the High Pass models function on that band and all device frequencies above, and the Low Pass models work on that band and all device frequencies below. Response plots for Receive Filters are conveniently listed on a single page in this product's detail web page tab labeled "Charts and Guides". Some users will want to use a pair of these filters with two of the required DXE-RXFL-1 Filter Adapter Boards in their NCC-2. Each individual filter used requires a DXE-RXFL-1 Single Filter Adapter Board to convert them for installation in DX Engineering device models DXE-NCC-2, DXE-RPA-2, DXE-RTR-2 or DXE-DMC-2. DX Engineering DXE-MBVE-5A60MCK 60 Meter Monoband Conversion Kits are custom made to modify DXE-MBVE-5A Multi-Band Vertical Antennas into 60 Meter mono-band vertical antennas. By accomplishing this conversion, the antenna will operate with peak performance on the 60 meter band. When properly tuned, the SWR should be under 1.5:1 across the entire 60 Meter band. At this point in time, there are Five Channels (USB mode) used on 60 Meters: Channel 1: 5330.5 kHz, Channel 2: 5346.5 kHz, Channel 3: 5357.0 kHz, Channel 4: 5371.5 kHz and Channel 5: 5403.5 kHz. 4O3A A50 Antenna/Load Switches serve as 50-ohm loads for open ports on the HFC4500 combiner or other multiplexer, preventing tuning degradation. Applying 12V power connects the input to the combiner's output, linking it to the corresponding combiner or filter. A typical setup switches a filter or a combiner to a monoband antenna. When the A50 is not powered, the switch defaults to a 50-ohm termination for the input and the antenna output is open. NOTE: The A50 is NOT an A/B switch. The manufacturer's label of "A/B Switch" is a product grouping, NOT an indication of the function of this product. The LOAD resistor is internal, so one of three connectors is unnecessary, which leaves an open hole in the chassis, a "normal feature" of the A50.

Mastrant Antenna Support and Guy Line Ropes are available in several sizes and strength ratings, perfect for support of wire antennas, vertical antennas and antenna masts, as well as support of Yagi booms and elements. Mastrant ropes are of the highest quality for strength and are UV-protected for extended longevity. MASTRANT-O is a highly reflective rope (bright orange plus braided reflective tape) based on long-term proven Polyester (Dacron) product line. It is designed for maximum visibility in public places such as Field Day and POTA activities. Like all Mastrant ropes, it is UV stable and resistant to all weather conditions. It has low weight, great abrasion resistance, great durability and is nonconductive (no effect whatsoever on your antenna). Moreover, in contrast to ropes made from aramid fibers (Kevlar, Vectran, Technora, Twaron), it has knot strength about 60 %. Mastrant-P and Mastrant-R Ropes are stronger than other synthetic ropes of the same size, made from proven modern polyester. Mastrant-Q is a new rope made from a blend of polyester and polypropylene, designed specifically for guying applications. It offers an excellent performance-to-price ratio and has a knot strength of approximately 60%. It replaces Mastrant-P in diameters of 6 mm (1/4 in.) and larger. Mastrant-S is a similar polyester/polypropylene rope, distinguished by its highly reflective strands for increased visibility. Mastrant-M is their highest strength rope with the Dyneema® DM20 core, a superior synthetic rope offering high performance at an affordable price. Very high strength, negligible elongation, very low weight, and great abrasion resistance are all attributes that make Mastrant-M the best rope for guying. Larger, stronger sizes of Mastrant-M are used in Europe and other parts of the world for tower guying. Durability and safety are of prime concern to ensure that an antenna installation remains fully operational for a long time. Antennas and guy lines are exposed to changing weather conditions, mechanical strain, UV radiation, humidity, and more. These non-conductive synthetic fibers have all the necessary qualities: high strength, negligible stretch but good flexibility, long life, low moisture collection, fast drying, a minimum bending radius adding the ability to tie knots, good UV radiation resistance, weather durability and resistance to acids and alkali. Conversely, steel guying wires are heavy, difficult to work with, and their strength deteriorates with time due to corrosion and general aging. Electrical conductivity of steel guys is an undesirable feature, as they interact with the antennas and adversely modify radiation patterns. Thanks to recent developments in synthetic materials, both amateur and professional users are changing over to non-conductive guys and ropes. Mastrant offers these products for a variety of applications, from thin support lines used for wire antennas and beams, to rope guys for supporting small and portable masts and vertical antennas.
