Sangean CL-100 Weather Alert Radios
Sangean CL-100 Weather Alert Radios receive all seven VHF NOAA weather channels and alert you to any hazardous weather conditions. These new tabletop Specific Area Message Encoding (S.A.M.E.) Weather Alert Radios are loaded with all of the key messaging features. They also include the AM and FM broadcast bands--with FM RBDS. The CL-100s are also Public Alert Certified weather radios that receive all current NOAA report formats. Finding S.A.M.E. county codes on NOAA's website is easy! Simply program them into your radio and store up to 25 counties. They'll give you more time to react before dangerous storms hit your area. These radios have FM RBDS capabilities, in which a digital signal on an FM station is decoded by an RBDS-capable receiver, and can provide a wide range of informational data. These radios make the perfect bedside alarm clock. You may set the sleep timer to 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, or 120 minutes and doze off to soft music. You may also set the dual alarm timers and wake to the AM or FM radio or buzzer alarms. There's even a snooze button. You may choose to set the date, day and time manually--or automatically by RBDS. Additionally, CL-100s have variable dimmer and contrast controls for comfortably viewing the display in the dark. The Sangean DT-800 AM-FM-NOAA Weather Radio is a small, rechargeable, pocket-sized portable radio that has everything you would need. Its sensitivity and selectivity are remarkable—and are comparable to many of the better stand-alone AM/FM table-top radios.
