DX Engineering MBS-4 Multi-Band Splitters

As opposed to standard four-port splitters, DX Engineering MBS-4 Multi-Band Splitters have been specially designed to pass signals from the bottom of the AM broadcast band (500 kHz) to beyond the top of the satellite radio band (2.4 GHz) and do it with low-loss. With such a wide pass-band they are very useful for implementing whole-house and commercial RF distribution networks supplying signals that are used in all types of entertainment systems. These signals could include AM/FM HD radio, VHF/UHF digital television, satellite radio and Wi-Fi. ANY signal frequency within the pass-band may be split to multiple locations! DXE-MBS-4 splitters are also designed to pass DC between their input and one of the output ports via protection diodes that prevent DC feedback. This allows powered amplifiers and antennas to receive power-feed through the splitters. RF insertion loss for these splitters is up to 12-dB. However, they may be used in tandem with wideband preamps to implement a lossless system! These splitters are not recommended for use in stand-alone satellite radio splitter configurations without additional external amplification and DC impedance terminations of unused ports. Whether you are wiring a living room, den, bedroom and sunroom, or a building with multiple offices, these DX Engineering MBS-4 Multi-Band Splitters are at the core of your signal-distribution network!

DX Engineering MB-2 Passive Splitters

DX Engineering MB-2 Passive Splitters cover from 500 kHz to 2.4 GHz. These splitters allow you to feed any combination of AM/FM/TV and Satellite Radio to two separate locations from multiple antennas that employ a signal combiner. Once the combined signals pass through one of these splitters and reach their individual locations they may be split-apart into their separate bands. Insertion loss from these splitters is only 3.5-dB. One of the output ports is DC power passing to the input to allow the use of inline amplifiers or other equipment requiring coaxial-line power. When you need to split multiple-band signals to two locations from a single coaxial cable, order one of these DX Engineering MB-2 Passive Splitters!

DX Engineering Type F Coaxial DC Blocks

DX Engineering Type F Coaxial DC Blocks have a male F connection for the equipment and a female F connection for the antenna line. When inserted into the line in either direction, they block DC current from passing through while permitting RF signals to flow. These units effectively block DC current from entering where it's not wanted—on antenna lines where DC powers other devices. The blocks will keep DC out of your receiver input! Their straight, inline form factor is perfect for most applications. Use these DC blocks at frequencies from 5 to 2,500 MHz! For example, they're ideal for isolating amplified Sirius/XM antenna voltage from your receiver. They easily handle up to 24 Vdc. Block that DC! Order your DX Engineering Type F Coaxial DC Blocks today.

DX Engineering AF Expansion Kits

DX Engineering AF Expansion Kits provide the components to make the proper connections from a DXE-AFHD-4® AM/FM/HD antenna to the typical AM/FM receiver that has separate antenna terminals for the AM and FM bands. Used along with two and four port multi-band splitters, these kits complete the connections at additional receivers, all from one antenna! AF Expansion Kits Include: * (1) AM Twin Lead Adapter * (1) AM/FM Band Separator * (2) 10 dB Attenuators * (2) 20 dB Attenuators * (2) 3 ft. RG-59 Cables Attenuators are included for installations where high RF signal levels are causing receiver front-end overload, especially useful for antenna systems located at or near broadcast transmitter sites. Additional AF Expansion Kits enable the connections at one, two or three additional receivers, when using the appropriate multi-band splitter. Those are the optional DXE-MB-2 for two coaxial outputs or the DXE-MBS-4 which provides four coaxial outputs, both from a single AFHD-4® antenna. Wherever a coaxial cable from an AM/FM/HD antenna needs to be split to the separate terminals of a single receiver or at additional receivers, you can depend upon DX Engineering AF Expansion Kits to get the job done right, the first time and every time.

DX Engineering NPA RF Attenuators

DX Engineering NPA RF Attenuators reduce the amount of signal carried within coaxial cables. This signal attenuation is sometimes needed to ensure proper receiver operation. When amplified antennas and inline amplifiers are used with short cable runs, it's possible to have too much signal arriving at the radio. Excessive signal may over-drive the receiver and create distortion or self-generated interference. When this happens, knocking the signal down a bit is the best remedy. DX Engineering RF Attenuators are Non-Passing Attenuators (DC blocking) in 10 or 20 dB attenuation levels. They may be combined for attenuation levels beyond 20 dB; however, this is very rarely needed. Operation is from 500 kHz to 2.4 GHz. When you suspect that you have too much signal reaching your radio, grab one of these DX Engineering NPA RF Attenuators!
