For the proper connection and RF transition from a balanced antenna to an unbalanced coax our baluns provide excellent common mode rejection and current balance so antennas operate at maximum efficiency and high isolation for minimal noise. Ununs are used for matching an unbalanced antenna to an unbalanced feedline. Feedline chokes keep noise out of the antenna and the receiver to improve overall reception plus they reduce RFI by eliminating feedline radiation.
