Perseus SDR Receiver

ELAD PERSEUS SDR Receiver is a VLF through HF 10 kHz – 30 MHz receiver based on an exceptional direct sampling digital architecture. The well-established Perseus features a 14-bit 80 MS/s analog-to-digital converter, a high-performance FPGA-based digital down converter and a 480 Mbit/s high-speed USB 2.0 PC interface. Being an SDR device, PERSEUS relies on software applications to perform the demodulation process. The software, in addition to providing digital signal processing capabilities, has a simple graphical user interface (GUI). Integration with third-party software is provided in various ways, through the Microtelecom Software Defined Radio Developer Kit, virtual audio ports and virtual communication ports.

Microtelecom PERSEUS is an ideal SDR RECEIVER for SWLs, featuring a high level of reception from 10 kHz to 30 MHz, with exceptional bandwidth monitoring capabilities. The analog front end has been carefully designed for the most demanding users and includes a 0-30 dB attenuator in 10 dB steps, a 10-band preselector and a high-dynamics preamp with a top-of-the-range cut-off point that exceeds 30 dBm. The resulting dynamics are greater than 100dB in SSB and 105dB in CW. The PERSEUS receiver can also be used in broadband mode as a spectrum analyzer with a 10 kHz - 40 MHz band and a dynamic range of over 100dB.
