KiwiSDR Independent SDR Network Receivers

KiwiSDR Independent SDR Network Receivers are stand-alone SDR (software-defined radio) receivers with a frequency range covering 10 kHz to 30 MHz, spanning VLF to HF bands and comes pre-installed with OpenWebRX and a built-in GPS receiver. Its ease of use and comprehensive features make it one of the best HF SDRs available. The Kiwi SDR2 is different from other SDRs. It is a standalone device that attaches to your local network and is optionally accessed through the Internet. A browser is used to connect to the user interface. Most other SDRs generate raw IQ data and need to be connected directly to a PC or laptop running OS-specific, installed software.

ELAD FDM-S3 SDR Receivers

ELAD FDM-S3 SDR Receivers are outstanding Software Defined Radios with impressive performance features. The Italian manufacturer, ELAD, has pushed the boundaries of modern SDR design with this model. For instance, the FDM-S3 offers an incredible 24 MHz bandwidth that can be scanned simultaneously, allowing up to four receivers to operate at the same time—a feature typically reserved for much more expensive receivers. The FDM-S3 functions as a direct sampling SDR with a variable sampling rate of up to 122.8 MHz. It covers a reception range from 9 kHz to 108 MHz, with an optional downconverter available for even higher frequencies. One of the unique aspects of the FDM-S3 is its variable sampling rate, which ranges from 98 to 122 MHz depending on the band. This flexibility allows for more favorable divider ratios for down-sampling, enhancing sensitivity and dynamic range.

Perseus22 4-Channel Direct Sampling Receiver

Perseus22 4-Channel Direct Sampling Receiver offers dual continuous frequency coverage from 10 kHz to 225 MHz with typical image rejection greater than 70dB, and excellent dynamic range on four independent receivers, two VLF-HF and two VHF, each with a dedicated antenna input. All four receiver channels are synchronously sampled by a high signal to noise ratio (s/n or SNR), 14-bit A/D converter and processed by a software defined digital down converter, implemented on an FPGA. The four output channels are routed to the host PC via the USB 3.0 controller, achieving synchronized true diversity reception and wide bandwidth IF applications. Supported modes are AM, SAM, QSAM, CW, CWrev, RTTY, RTTYrev, LSB, USB, IQ, FM, WFM (RDS in development), and DAB+. Presently available sample rates are 250, 500, 1000 and 2000 kSps, with the maximum span currently displayed at 1600 kHz. The frequency coverage of the Perseus22 is split-up into pairs of receiving channels (slices), which mean two receivers for the VLF-HF frequency range of 10 kHz to 70 MHz, and two receivers for VHF range from 70 MHz to 225 MHz. Each receiving pair is capable of diversity processing, which can reduce noise by orders of magnitude. Each of the four receiver channels include an analog RF front end equipped with attenuators, preselection filters and amplifiers. The receiver enclosure is machined from solid aluminum and finished with a fine, non-reflective black surface treatment. Perseus22 SDR multichannel software was created by a team formed by Elad and Microtelecom developers, with years of experience in developing software for Digital Signal Processing (DSP). This software takes advantage of an agile GUI interface platform, integrating past DSP design experience to accommodate future modules for demodulators and decoders. This advanced software features a simple and intuitive graphical user interface, simultaneously efficient and complete. The GUI is built using OpenGL, making it possible to leverage the GPU for everything related to the rendering of controls and windows. This allows the CPU to be tasked exclusively with digital processing of the radio signals, to offer revolutionary receiving features and capabilities. Presently this is a Windows software application. Thanks to the libraries used, Perseus22 management software can be implemented on other operating systems such as Linux, MacOS and even Android, with little effort. Perseus22 is shipped with: • AC to DC high-quality medical-grade switch mode power supply GSM40A09-P1J (with AC power cord); 9 VDC 4.45A Output 2.1 x 5.5mm; 80-264 VAC input, IEC320-C14 • USB 3.0 A to B cable, length 76 in. (2 m) • 4 SMA-BNC adapters

STAMPFL HAM Electronics VT5-S Active HF Receiver Multicouplers

STAMPFL HAM Electronics VT5-S Active HF Receiver Multicouplers were developed according to a design by Günter Fred Mandel DL4ZAO especially for SWL (Shortwave Listener) covering 9 kHz to 52 MHz. The VT-5S distributes a single near zero-Ohm star point (HF antenna input) to five outputs with a passive distribution network. This decoupling of the individual outputs prevents connected devices from influencing each other without level losses using a low-noise, high-dynamic RF amplifier and a push-pull output stage. These HF Multicouplers ensure high signal stability, minimal self-noise, and strong isolation between outputs. Additional protections include ESD protection on the input and short-circuit protection for the bias-T, which can remotely power active antennas. The VT5-S Multicoupler is designed to supply an external stabilized DC voltage . With an operating voltage in the range of 11.7 to 15VDC. The DC voltage must be free of hum and noise. The current consumption is approx. 150mA (at 13.8VDC). The DC supply is connected via a center positive 2.1mm ID (5.5mm OD) DC barrel plug. With its compact, lightweight design, the VT5-S delivers reliable performance for professional and hobbyist HF monitoring stations.
