These 1.5, 3 and 6 ft. coax assemblies in orange are easy to identify on the test bench and behind the radio for QRP and receive only connections. How is this a good choice? CLICK the cable to see the product page. The OVERVIEW has a Loss Chart with interesting info. The efficiency of this amazingly thin coaxial cable is unexpectedly good, adding slightly more attenuation for a given length as compared to larger, heavier coax on HF. For typical applications with portable antennas and equipment interconnections, the losses are inconsequential on the HF bands with the cable lengths offered. A typical portable antenna used with a 25 ft. cable has 0.73dB loss on 14 MHz (20M band) which represents only 15% loss. An extreme example is with a 50 foot DXE-174VDB050 cable used on a 10 meter (28 MHz) antenna has just over 2dB attenuation. Even this power loss of 38% results in an imperceptible difference at the receiving end of a radio contact. Losses are insignificant with DXE-174V cable assemblies on HF bands, especially with 1.5, 3 and 6 ft. length jumpers, or with 25 and 35 ft. cables. Use DX Engineering RG-174 50-ohm Hi-Viz Orange Mini Coaxial Assemblies for HF POTA and SOTA antennas that are easier to wrap up, carry, install and pack up. They're ready for your HF portable operations and much more! NOTE: These cable assemblies are NOT intended to be used for long lengths on VHF or UHF antennas, on frequencies above 50 MHz with significant loss.

DX Engineering RG-58A/U 52-ohm Low-Loss Coaxial Cable Assemblies
DX Engineering RG-58A/U 52-ohm Low-Loss Coaxial Cable Assemblies are very flexible, solid dielectric, braided shield cable intended for RF connections to SO-239 and BNC equipment and antennas. These assemblies are suitable for moderate-power applications where flexibility is a key consideration. NOTE: These premade cables come with either high quality, silver plated 83-1SP PL-259 or silver plated BNC Male connectors installed at each end of the DXE-58AU cable, for use on any equipment with SO-239 or BNC Female connectors. Slightly smaller than RG-8X cable, DX Engineering RG-58A/U Coaxial Cable Assemblies are made from our new-process DXE-58AU solid dielectric cable. Featuring a stranded tinned copper center conductor, a braided tinned copper shield and a standard Type I PVC jacket, our 58AU cable assemblies are intended for low to moderate power, test and mobile applications where short runs and flexibility are required. DX Engineering RG-58AU offers easy handling characteristics and good shielding. Plus, this solid dielectric cannot gather moisture and has longer viability than old RG-58 foam cables. INFO: Type-I PVC is not intended for permanent installation in outdoor locations where sun exposure is expected. This cable can last well over 10 years if it is protected from UV sunlight. Our RG-58AU Coaxial Cable Assemblies come complete with high-quality silver-plated Delrin-dielectric PL-259 or BNC male connectors. Their machine-crimped shields feature 360 degrees of complete mechanical and electrical contact for maximum reliability. Their center conductors are hand soldered and inspected. All DX Engineering Cable Assemblies are Hi-Pot tested and heat-shrink weather-sealed for the ultimate in service longevity. When you are looking for lightweight and flexible pre-assembled cable assemblies and want a high-quality, reliable product, look no further than our own DX Engineering RG-58A/U 52-ohm Low-Loss Coaxial Cable Assemblies.

DX Engineering RG-214 Double Shielded 50-ohm Coaxial Cable Assemblies
DX Engineering RG-214 Double Shielded 50-ohm Coaxial Cable Assemblies feature superior RF isolation and rugged flexibility for critical applications in the shack and on the tower. These high-quality assemblies, with PL-259s or Type N connectors, feature our specially manufactured MIL-SPEC DXE-214. This is a tough yet flexible coax with 12-gauge silver plated stranded copper center conductor, solid polyethylene dielectric and TWO layers of silver plated braided copper shields to provide exceptional RF isolation performance and superior power handling. DXE-214 coax assemblies are perfect for use where many cables are bundled together and higher RF isolation is desired. Use DXE-214 cables for antenna feedlines on towers, especially for rotator loops, as the solid polyethylene dielectric provides repeated flexing without concern of center conductor migration. Plus, these cable assemblies excel at maintaining RF isolation in the shack or in the equipment room of stations with many antenna feedlines. DXE-214 is specifically recommended for use in VHF/UHF duplex repeater applications. DX Engineering RG-214 Double Shielded Cable Assemblies are terminated with either Amphenol 83-1SP silver plated PL-259 connectors or our silver plated Type N connectors. Shields and center pins are hand soldered by trained assembly techs. Every assembly is continuity and Hi-Pot tested and then heat-shrink weather-sealed for the ultimate service longevity. You won't find this level of cable assembly quality anywhere else! Order DX Engineering RG-214 Double Shielded 50-ohm Coaxial Cable Assemblies - the ultimate flexible choice for RF isolation and power handling.
