Made to DX Engineering specifications, DXE-CW1812UN Special Heavy-Duty Direct-Bury Rotator Cable is a rugged, waterproof, and UV-resistant cable that is offered cut-to-length. This is the power and control cable required by the DXE-RT4500HD Heavy Duty Rotator up to a maximum length of 400 ft. It is also useful for prop-pitch motors and many other high-torque, heavy-duty rotators that use two-wire DC drive and an unshielded twisted pair for pulse position feedback. This is also great cable for relay power control and remote RF preamplifier systems located far from the station.

This is the power and control cable required by the DXE-RT4500HD Heavy Duty Rotator up to a maximum length of 400 ft. A twisted pair of 18 AWG 16-strand tinned copper unshielded conductors with orange and blue PVC insulation to deliver pulse position information to your controller. The rotator motor is served with two 12 AWG 65-strand low-resistance, unshielded tinned-copper conductors with black and white PVC insulation, wrapped in paper separator with polypropylene filler strands. These conductors have 300V and 75° Celsius ratings with RoHS compliance. This heavy cable bundle is covered in a tough, 45 mil UV- stable black waterproof polyethylene jacket that is just under 0.375 inch diameter overall. This cable has jacket markings that designate "DX Engineering DXE-CW1812 Direct-Bury capable and UV-Resistant 18/2C + 12/2C" with lot and foot markings.
