DX Engineering 1500 Watt Dry Dummy Loads
DX Engineering 1500 Watt Dry Dummy Loads DXE-DL1500U have an attractive, lightweight slotted black aluminum chassis, which provides secure and efficient mounting, RF shielding and air cooling for the large internal resistor. The DL1500U load resistor is nearly three times larger than the resistor in a similar popular dummy load, but this model achieves its performance specifications and will provide years of dependable service. Palstar DL1500 1500 Watt Dummy Loads
Palstar DL1500 1500 Watt Dummy Loads are capable of handling 100 Watt "barefoot" power levels for 10 minutes, and 1500 Watts for up to 10 seconds. A custom-designed Hyperbolic cone permits the the DL1500 to operate at up to 500 MHz, although power handling capability diminishes above 30 MHz. DL1500s are air-cooled, so there is no messy transformer oil to deal with. DL1500s are ideal, simple, basic dummy loads for the ham who does not need the capabilities of the much larger DL2K and DL5K Palstar products.
