RedPitaya SDRlab 122-16
RedPitaya SDRlab 122-16 is a rigorously upgraded version of their revolutionary STEMlab board, redesigned specifically for SDR and other RF applications. It is capable from well below HF, with an emphasis on all of HF through the 6 meter band using popular SDR software. The SDRlab 122-16 board features a RF Input minimum frequency capability of 300 kHz (-3 dB) and no DC coupling using a low-power dual-channel 16-bit, 125 Msps ADC (Analog to Digital Converter) with 50 ohm inputs and a dual-channel 14-bit, 125 Msps DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) with 50 ohm outputs. The faster and more capable Dual Core ARM Cortex A9 Processor is paired with the larger Xilinx Zynq 7020 FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) and 512 MB RAM to provide phenomenal real-time processing capabilities. All together the SDRlab 122-16 provides improved dynamic range, sensitivity, with reduced distortion, noise & crosstalk. Plus, its hardware is compatible with HPSDR. SDRlab 122-16 has 50 ohm SMA female Inputs and Outputs, 1 GB Ethernet and USB 2.0 connectivity, and is Wi-Fi capable with a dongle. Up to 16 digital and 4 analog I/Os are provided by the Extension Connector. The Standard Kit comes with the RedPitaya SDRlab 122-16 board, comes with a 16 GB micro SD Card, 1m Ethernet cable and Universal Power Supply 5V, 2A. RedPitaya SDRlab 122-16 is a strong basis for your own SDR Transceiver. With a frequency range to 62.5 MHz and 16 bits of resolution it represents a powerful and affordable core of the SDR radio that you build. The on board ADC, running at 125 Million samples per second at 16-bit depth, digitizes the RF signal from the antenna with excellent dynamic range. The data coming from the ADC is processed by an in-phase/quadrature (I/Q) digital down-converter (DDC) running on the Red Pitaya's FPGA. I/Q data is transmitted via TCP to the SDR programs such as SDR# and HDSDR. Add an all bands filter and amplifier module, connect an antenna and you are ready to start your SDR adventure!

SOTAbeams Filter Boards and Band Component Kits
SOTAbeams Filter Boards and Band Kits are used for the WSPRlite Classic, WSPRlite Flexi, or for your own QRP transmitter, SDR front-end filter projects or on any receiver. Choose the Low Pass Filter Board and Band Kit components for the specific bands on which you want to use your WSPRlite. Build these high performance seven-element Chebyshev low pass filters to eliminate harmonics and spurs. They function bi-directionally and may be used for QRP transceivers or for receive. Each board features a manual band change jumper header and comes with a SMA male cable to connect to the WSPR lite and a board mount SMA female connector for your antenna feedline adapter or adapter cable. SOTAbeams Filter Boards and Band Kits are available in four versions. These three have a revised board layout: - SBM-LOWPASSKIT Low Pass Filter Kit for 160, 80 and 40 meters, version 1.2 Board - SBM-LOWPASSKITHB Low Pass Kit for 20, 15 and 10 meters, version 1.2 Board These two include the filter components, connector and one cable. - SBM-PCB3BLPF Low Pass Printed Circuit Board only, version 1.2 Board. This kit includes only the board, SMA connector and one cable. Add to your cart the specific component Band Kits for the bands you want to use. All 11 bands are available from 160-6 meters. After you finish building one of these three boards, it fits into the updated accessory enclosure model DXE-LPFV1-2-CASE. NOTE: These three version 1.2 Boards DO NOT fit into the DXE-SB-LPF-CASE -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - SBM-LPFKITDXEPCB Low Pass Filter Kit for 160, 80 and 40 meters, version 1.1 Board. This kit includes band filter components, connector and one cable with the old PCB. When this v1.1 kit completed, it is the only board that fits into the original DXE-SB-LPF-CASE. (NOTE: This v1.1 board does not fit into the updated DXE-LPFV1-2-CASE which fits only v1.2 boards). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Buy and build more than one SOTAbeams Filter Boards and Band Component Kits to use your WSPRlite Classic or WSPRlite Flexi on more than three bands. Don't forget to add the adapters shown in suggested parts. These low pass filters also work on QRP transmitters and all receivers. DX Engineering is your source for SOTAbeams and WSPRlite products and accessories.

SOTAbeams BOXA-DUAL Amplifier Kits
SOTAbeams BOXA-DUAL Amplifier Kits are ideal for incorporating into your own designs. However, for additional flexibility these amplifier and enclosure kits have been designed to allow your LASERBEAM-DUAL filter module (not included) to be used with all your favorite radios. They have a professional look that will compliment your shack. BOXA-DUAL enclosures have laser-cut gold panels which screw into a rugged extruded aluminum case. BOXA-DUAL kits consist of a PCB that the filter module (not included) plugs into; together with an audio amplifier. The front panel features the CW Tuning LED (Sig) and Overload LED (Lvl) as well as a bandwidth switch (W/N) and volume control (Vol). The rear panel has 3.5 mm stereo jacks for audio in and out as well as a power jack for a DC supply (5-15 Volts). Power input is via a standard 2.1 mm power plug (supplied). The board will drive headphones or a small speaker. By changing two resistors, audio output can be increased up to 1.5 Watts which will drive a larger speaker. Because the filter module is a plug-in unit you can swap between different LASERBEAM-DUAL modules depending on your application. These kits use all through-hole components and are an easy build for a beginner. Build time is about 30 minutes. IMPORTANT NOTES: These kits: * Include amplifier and enclosure * Do not include a LASERBEAM-DUAL filter module * Are not suitable for LASERBEAM-VARI or LASERBEAM-817 filter modules Are you thinking about a LASERBEAM-DUAL filter module? If so, have a look at these SOTAbeams BOXA-DUAL Amplifier Kits from DX Engineering!

DX Engineering Iron Powder Cores
DX Engineering Iron Powder Cores are used by electronics designers and radio hobbyists to build cost effective RF inductors, for MF to UHF circuit board applications, as well as for RF suppression. Iron powder cores are typically made in smaller toroid form and are used to build special inductors used in critical receiving circuits and low power electronic filter applications. They are not used in baluns as they have much lower RF power handling capabilities than ferrite toroids. However, with lower permeability, iron powder inductor cores work much better than ferrite in high temperatures environments, inside hot equipment. Plus, inductors wound on iron powder cores produce less electro-magnetic interference to adjacent circuits. Therefore, they are often used in devices subject to Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing. DX Engineering Iron Powder Cores are available in popular material numbers and sizes.
