Gator Cases Pro Series Equipment Rack Cases
Gator Cases Pro Series Equipment Rack Cases are crafted from rotationally-molded polyethylene, a process which makes these cases virtually indestructible. They include full size front and rear removable lids with recessed steel "butterfly" twist latches that secure the lids onto the case. Integral ergonomic side handles provide easy access for carrying the case. Non-slip rubber feet on the bottom of the case mate with indentations on the top for easy stacking of multiple Pro Series cases. Gator Cases Pro Series Equipment Racks include threaded front and rear rails in the industry standard 19 inch width, in a variety of heights and in two case depths. Equipment racks and their vertical mounting rails have standardized threaded hole spacing and rack panel heights for mounting equipment. Designated in Units, one rack unit - 1U- is equivalent to a 19 inch wide panel that is slightly less than 1.75 inches, for panel clearance. For example, a rack designation of 4U has a vertical panel space that is about 7 inches tall, and the 6U rack has 10.5 inches of vertical panel space, and so on, with the overall case structure height always greater. The Yaesu FT-891 is a popular choice for portable operations and protecting the radio from the elements. This case allows for fast setup of the radio as all that is needed is to open the case, connect the power and antenna and then everything is set up to transmit. There is extra space in the lid to leave the microphone connected to the jack and close the lid. Panel mounted jacks allow for easy connection to the external speaker, remote/ALC and key jacks. Chelegance JCASE-XK14 Waterproof Equipment Cases
Chelegance JCASE-XK14 Waterproof Equipment Cases are the perfect protection for your expensive portable radio. The XK14 will fit the Xeigu X6100, Elecraft KX2 and KX3, or the Icom IC-705 and provides commonly used connections on the metal face plate. The brackets for the individual radios mount to the main metal face plate and provide a solid mounting point for the radio. All connections are below the main faceplate. A SO-239 connector and a five way binding post allow for connection of the antenna and a counterpoise, USB connections are available for the radios that utilize them. An RJ-45 jack is provided for the Xeigu X6100 microphone as well as a set of Powerpoles® to supply power to the radio. Other connections include 3.5mm jacks for Microphones, headphones, CW keys, and the accessory jacks on the radios. Once you get to a suitable operating position, simply open the JCASE-XK14, connect your antenna, power, headphones, microphone or key and you're on the air.
