DX Engineering Telescoping Fiberglass Tubing Sets
DX Engineering Telescoping Fiberglass Tubing Sets are available in four different sets, made from high quality, pultruded fiberglass tubing with a nominal 0.120 in. wall thickness, that is smooth finished for long term use. The two shorter sets have 48 in.. sections, one has four pieces with a 2 in. bottom section that can extend to 15 ft., and the 7 piece set that extends to 25 ft. has a 2.50 in. base. The two sets that extend to 46 ft. tall consist of seven 90 in. sections. The standard set starts with a 2 in. base and the Heavy Duty 46 ft. model features a massive 3 in. bottom section. These "TF" Telescoping Fiberglass Tubing Sets are the only available fiberglass tubing which does not include clamps. DX Engineering Project Fiberglass
DX Engineering Project Fiberglass is NON-TELESCOPING tubing which is intended to be used as independent parts, or as stock to be cut for parts. Use it for whatever your imagination can devise: cut it into pieces for coil forms, shelf legs, side arms, and so on. The sky is the limit for the number of uses when there is no requirement for telescoping or wall thickness consistency. DX Engineering Project Fiberglass is limited-availability, non-telescopic fiberglass tubing, sold only in a variety of non-nesting sizes and only as eight foot lengths. An oversize shipping charge will apply. These tubes have a nominal and variable wall thickness of approximately 0.120 inch. Their variable wall thickness makes their openings non-concentric at any point along their length. Therefore, even though two tubes may actually fit or slide together for part of the way, they may get stuck together if you force them. If two tubes do slide together, the next two tubes of the same size may not. This is our definition of non-telescopic tubing. NOTICE - DX Engineering Project Fiberglass: 1. IS SOLD AS-IS 2. Wimo Heavy Duty Telescoping Fiberglass Mast Extension Kits
Wimo Heavy Duty Telescoping Fiberglass Mast Extension Kits add to the bottom of and extend the height of the WMO-18333-10 Heavy Duty Mast. With appropriate guying, use one WMO-18334-01 Adaptor Tube and up to five fiberglass WMO-18334 Extension Tubes can provide a total of 14.76 ft. additional height. The first extension tube extends the Heavy Duty mast by approximately 2 ft. due to the required tubing overlap and each additional extension tube adds another 3 ft. *IMPORTANT * One WMO-18334-01 Adapter Tube (sold separately) is REQUIRED to connect the first WMO-18334 Extension Tube to the bottom of the Heavy Duty Mast. Each additional Extension Tube does not require this adaptor; as they are tapered to fit onto each other. WMO-18334 Extension Tubes can also be used to create a very portable and easy-to-assemble stand-alone mast that maintains a larger diameter for greater strength. The number of Extension Tubes used for this alternative mast is limited by the top load and guying of the mast. One of the WMO-18334-1 Adapter Tubes could be used at the very top of that alternative assembly, to protect the mast top and provide a robust antenna fastening point.
