TRI16 BT antennas are truly unique. The generous spacing between the elements around the boom to mast plate allows installation on towers with sides up to 70 inches per side. Built on a 38 foot boom, each antenna features a total of sixteen elements: four elements on 20 meters (reflector, driver, and two directors), five elements on 15 meters (reflector, driver, and three directors), and seven elements on 10 meters (reflector, driver, and five directors). This aggressive element configuration delivers outstanding forward gain and strong rejection performance across all bands.
Each TRI16 BT antenna includes an assembly tool and spare hardware such as bolts and an aluminum replacement tube. A high quality 3kW RF choke balun is also included as standard—an important advantage, as many manufacturers offer similar components only as optional extras. This premium balun ensures proper feed line isolation and cleaner RF behavior for high power operation.
