Copper clips on each end of the [Z]Kore Kevlar antenna wire provide a solid connection to the telescoping whips, and the wire stores on a convenient wire winder to keep the wire neat and for easy deployment and storage. The REZ [Z]-17SS Stainless steel whips are 17-foot-long telescopic whips that collapse down to 24 5/8in. Weighing in at 14.4 oz, with a power rating of 1000W PEP, these 17-foot whips are resonant on 20-6 meters by themselves or up through 40 meters with the addition of an XFORM UNUN. The REZ CM7 Common Mode feedline chokes provide a reduction in common mode current that travels back down your coax and causes issues for radiating your signal.
