DX Commander MK2 Signature 9 HF Multi-Band Vertical Antennas are an updated version of the original Signature 9 system, featuring a redesigned heavy-duty base section and improved support poles. It's important to note the original Signature9 MK1 plates sets do not fit MK2 poles. The heavy-duty, free-standing DX Commander MK2 Signature 9 antenna design is built on the success of the original DX Commander Classic and Signature 12.4 designs. DX Commander Rapide2-PLUS HF Multi-Band Vertical Antenna Packages include a DXC-RAPIDE-GP2 Ground Mounted Fiberglass Post designed for ground mounting the RAPIDE2 antenna system. These Ground Mounted Fiberglass Posts are extremely strong and flexible tubing that's constructed with a high glass, no carbon content fiberglass via a pultrusion process making them perfect for vertical antenna projects. These 3mm, or about 1/8in. wall fiberglass posts are 45.276 (115cm) long and features a corrosion barrier built into the surface for longer life. DX Commander Rapide2 HF Multi-Band Vertical Antennas feature a newly designed and upgraded all-metal end cap for the telescoping mast and upgraded ground plate assembly. These resonant multi-band vertical antenna systems are designed to operate on the 30 through 10 meter Amateur Radio bands (with the 6m band handled by the 30m element as a 1.25 wavelength element). Diamond CP5H antennas are 11.8 ft. tall with 71 in. long radials that can be mounted 360 degrees around the antenna or concentrated on one side if you need to mount one close to a structure. Hustler 5BTV 5-Band HF Vertical Antenna and DXE® Installation Guide Packages are trapped-vertical antennas that provide an omni-directional pattern. 5BTVs were designed as self-supporting verticals to provide efficient operation in the 10, 15, 20, 40, and 75 or 80 meter bands. These antennas perform well in restricted space areas. For peak performance, a field of radial wires should be used. Hustler 5-BTVs provide for automatic selection of bands through the use of optimum-Q traps which are individually and precisely tuned and internally sealed at the factory. These traps are parallel-tuned circuits, which provide very effective isolation between the vertical sections, permitting precise multi-band operation. Broadband operation, with low SWR over the entire ham band, (limited on 80 and 75 meters), is possible in a proper installation. These antennas were designed to provide optimum performance from both an electrical and mechanical standpoint. Mechanically, these antennas boast a heavy-duty base and heavy-duty aluminum tubing throughout. The mechanical assembly is accomplished with all stainless steel hardware. Performance provided by the Hustler 5BTVs is better than any other antenna of this type. Broad-banding is such that one measurement and setting permits both phone and CW operation. The antenna provides nominal 52-ohm base impedance when installed and tuned according to the instructions. The radiation efficiency is equal to, or greater than, other trap verticals.
