SOTAbeams MDCS-100 Drive-on Mast Mount makes it easy to set up for portable operations with your fiberglass, aluminum or carbon fiber mast antenna support along side your parked car. Paired with the SOTAbeams Compact Travel Mast (SBM-TRAVELMAST), you have a complete portable solution for mounting a light-weight wire antenna.
NOTE: This mount is not suitable for the SOTAbeams Mini Telescopic Pole or the Tactical 7000hds.
The recommended maximum telescopic fiberglass or carbon fiber mast height is 33 ft. (10 m). Guying recommended; guying is required in windy conditions or when using antennas that exert a significant "pull". For some slim masts you will need to shim the sleeve to get a proper fit.
Made of mild steel with an attractive silver painted finish it will give many years of service. Great with guyed aluminum, carbon fiber and fiberglass poles up to 2.25 in. diameter (58mm) at the base section. It is quick and easy to assemble and take apart for transport as the stand separates into two parts.
