These down-converters change an input voltage of 24 or 48 Vdc nominal--actually, a range of 22 Vdc to 56 Vdc or 30 Vdc to 56 Vdc, depending on the model--to a highly regulated output voltage of 13.8 Vdc. These converters provide no isolation between their input and output negative terminals and are meant for use in negative-ground systems.
