Astron Step-Down DC/DC Converters
These Astron Corporation Step-Down DC/DC Converters offer high-efficiency DC conversion. These down-converters change an input voltage of 24 or 48 Vdc nominal--actually, a range of 22 Vdc to 56 Vdc or 30 Vdc to 56 Vdc, depending on the model--to a highly regulated output voltage of 13.8 Vdc. These converters provide no isolation between their input and output negative terminals and are meant for use in negative-ground systems. Astron Isolated Step-Down DC/DC Converters
These Astron Corporation Isolated Step-Down DC/DC Converters were designed for use on electric forklifts (where high line transients and voltage spikes are common) and will operate on either positive-ground or negative-ground electrical systems. They incorporate short circuit protection, overvoltage protection, overload protection, terminal block connections, and an extra terminal to allow the converters to be turned on/off with the ignition switch. Utilizing input voltages from 22 to 56 Vdc, these fully isolated power converters will provide a regulated DC output of 13.8 volts, with a maximum deviation of only .04 Vdc under full load! Werewolf VFLEX Starter Kits
Werewolf VFLEX Starter Kits include everything to start making use of the VFLEX Adapter system. This kit includes 3 VFLEX Base modules, The Adapter Pack 1 and Adapter Pack 2 kits and a convenient storage case with foam cutouts that provide secure storage for the parts of the kit. The VFLEX Base is the heart of the VFLEX system, allowing you to connect a USB-C power adapter, such as one that comes with a laptop or a cell phone to a device that you own that still receives it's power from a barrel connector. Utilizing a cellphone or computer, the user can set the output voltage of the VFLEX Base, provided that the USB-C Power Supply can supply the voltage and amperage requested via USB-PD. Once the VFLEX Base is configured to provide the voltage that the device needs, a cable is plugged into the opposite side and then plugged into the device that needs power. Different cables support different devices, and selecting the cable is as simple as matching the diameter of the plug and off you go. A single tri-color LED on the VFLEX Base provides the tatus of the connection to a device on the USB-C side. The VFLEX Base is configurable for 3.3 to 48V, if the power supply you are using supports it. The VFLEX Base will work with any power supply that can negotiate voltage via USB-C Power Delivery. Additionally, this kit contains nine adapter cables that are also included in the Adapter Pack 1 and Adapter Pack 2 kits. These cables cover the most common barrel plug sizes. Seven of the cables are wired for center positive and two of them are wired for center negative (this is denoted by a red tip on the cable.) The two cables that are wired this way allow for connection of devices that are wired center negative without needing additional adapters. The storage case comes with space for up to six VFLEX Base devices, plus spaces for all the adapter cables. This hard sided storage case will help keep everything organized. While it is common to use a 12VDC battery or vehicle power during portable ops, it is uncommon to have 24VDC on hand to power the STEALTH Loop and ATU. UP CONVERTER solves this dilemma, and it is guaranteed to be RF quiet, unlike some poorly designed DC to DC converters. It features two digital volt meters to monitor the Input and Output voltages.
