Phonema PHITS Acoustic Modification Kits provide all the materials you need to dramatically improve the sound quality of your communications speaker.

Professional sound engineers have, for many decades, designed Hi-Fi speaker systems with acoustic materials, baffles, ports and other features, to specifically alter basic speaker response. Phonema has now applied this line of thinking to Amateur Radio communications speakers.

Their PHITS kits, "PHITS" being a contraction of "PHonema fITS" are specifically designed to reduce or eliminate undesirable reverberation, phase distortion, resonant vibrations and other adverse conditions that affect accurate, clear sound reproduction.

Phonema PHITS kits are available to fit specific Icom, Kenwood and Yaesu speakers. These kits require no cutting or trimming! Every piece of a PHITS kit is already prepared for easy and painless installation into the speaker for which it was designed. A universal kit is now available to retrofit many other speakers.
