DX Engineering Silicone Power Wire is highly flexible two-conductor stranded copper silicone insulated zip-cord type cable pair that is typically used for low voltage power circuits. It is also used as speaker wire for low through high power audio depending upon gauge selected. The silicone insulation colors are red and black for immediate polarity identification in every application. Amazingly easy to use and prepare, Silicone Power Wire is a super flexible, high strand-count insulated pair which pulls apart easily, should you want to — that's why it bears the description "zip cord." Silicone insulation features greater resistance to heat, UV and contaminants and this power wire, which is easier to handle, can be used in place of standard PVC power wire zip cord.

DX Engineering Silicone Power Wire is available in six sizes: 18, 16, 14, 12, 10 and 8 AWG (0.8, 1.3, 2.1, 3.3, 5.3 and 8.4 sq. mm equivalent). This wire is sold in any per-foot length, so you can order just the right size and length for your system!
